I have been surprised that the share price has responded so little to the news on permitting. The risk is far less . It may be the case that financing is the biggest issue, and a good deal mostly debt funding will be the trigger for a sustained rise in share price to much higher levels than we have here

I do, but funding to reopen the mines isn’t Jorc dependent. A Jorc will be produced to support longer term mine planning/development.

HG - The JORC is used to base an investment - not the other way around. Pretty sure you know this.

A Jorc Resoure will be ‘reverse engineered’ once the mines are re-opened and additional drilling is carried out , substantially funded by KORES. They’ve done sufficient investigation to date to re-open the mines and produce gold based on known resources!

I was seriously surprised when I read your comments you obviously don't know anything about this company how can you say it's a risky bet when it's a proven resource they've got in the ground it used to be a producing mine in the 70s

Shield bug you don't know what you're talking about this company has already got proven gold assets in the ground

Highly Geared. The point of all that costly time consuming drilling is to prove up resources and de-risk investments - that creates value. With BMV or Afritin (another reopened mine) you need faith - which doesn't sit well with many investors. Bluebird and Afritin are more risky mining investments in the traditional sense. But from a logical sense they are good bets.

Some very good posts here. Yes AIM is mainly short term. Yes the market is unaware of the timescale and funding requirements. But it has a 2 year possible ten-bagger written all over it.

largely debt funded. Also we need to stock up 1/2 equity

The point is missed slightly in that we aren’t spending 5 years and £20 million doing drilling, resource definition,PEA , BFS etc.
Equally, everything is always predicated on funding. Once this becomes clear and that it doesn’t involve excessive dilution then we should see an appropriate share price response. FWIW, I’ve bought more today as , for me, it’s been de-risked.

With regards to lack of price rise today, just look at the many miners that publish BFS only for the price to fall. Here we do not have a PEA, a BFS or even a JORC. The next mountain to climb is going to be funding. After that they need a plan that actually makes money - still unproven. I doubt there will be significant price movement until there is more clarity.

Also Kochang is needed to support their existing strategy. Not essential but it is part of the plan to start with the smaller mine and ramp up.

The gold story is an increasingly strong one so the upside here should be too.

Very disappointed with the price reaction today was seriously thinking 5p minimum. However now a lot of risk has been removed it's clearly now a case of waiting a little longer to reap the rewards .

Unbelievable reaction. Mind you I can't buy £100 electronically but can sell £3k worth at 2.43 no problems if I was daft enough too.

I'm an investor here. What's holding back the share price is a lack of clarity on finance and timescales for starting gold production, after a six-month delay in getting the permit. Production was initially scheduled for December. Now it will be sometime next year, but we don't know when. BMV is no doubt an excellent long-term investment, but few people invest for the long term on AIM. Even an excellent long-term investment can fall in price in the short term, especially when long-term finance and working capital are needed.
