A higher share price may help the company borrow money, but if they do not need issue equity to raise money, the low share price is not a problem in the short term. As the projects move towards production I am sure the price will rise.

Many (if not all) of the transactions below but close to the mid were purchases. The share price would not have held up under that much selling.

PIs are not entirely stupid or totally void of patience and there weren't that many buyers at lower prices. And perhaps it's a good thing today has remained somewhat quiet without the twitterati and ramping crew coming on for a quickie.

The 40000 buy is mine this pm, BMV is less risk, but even I wouldn't be surprised to see it drop again to 1.75p !

HG,

I would go for 'Korean Gold Mining'

Resources sounds as though it's exploration rather actual production,IMO.

Yes, seriously frustrating. but no institutional interest at such a low MCap., so subject to the vagaries of PI's limited patience. The same, but perhaps even more bizarre over at GGP. I expect both to have a great 2020.

Leopold - agreed some of the estimates are on the optimistic side.

Cost to the JV - $2.2m. That would be something. Considering there is apparently previously mined ore sitting around it may be possible to get started with minimal costs. Look forward to seeing some details on the processing plant.

Doubled my small investment here this morning on the news.

The Kores funded drilling at Kochang can commence in the new year which should bring short term news.
Still think a name change is needed to give greater attention (Korean Gold Resources etc...)

Great update. I'm taking the cost / production and timeline estimates with a bit of skepticism, but they are some very strong estimates. Let's see if they can fund this with non-dilutive debt first of all. Looking forward to seeing this play out

The selling is barmy and holding the price back big time. I would love to know where it is coming from, other stocks I hold such as Arcm have the same!

Good to see we are back on track and Plan A is alive and well. Just wish people would stop selling as it gives the wrong impression! Could do with a few more newbies to buy and hold.

There’s such little appetite for small gold stocks at present, virtually no buying even though BMV is much derisked.

People have always sold this. Never had a solid cornerstone investor, so as such retail driven. Same people will be buying back when they see real momentum. Until then as always it's sit and wait . Zzzzz

The usual approach of people thinking, 10-12 months from production so come back later...

What an opportunity though. Permits now granted - so that particular risk is now gone. Funding looking like it will be on very favourable terms for shareholders and a short period of time until we are in production. Anyone with an ounce of patience getting in anywhere around this level will do very well. Crazy why some are selling this news

I wander if there would be logic in Bmv merging with Southern Gold, the latter is focused solely on South Korea, but has some further exploration interests there

Korea has more appetite for debt , but a dual listing once in production could see a much stronger valuation than the London markets

Really great news; on the funding aspect too.

Cool Runnings - Q4U - Any chance of a joint listing in S. Korea? Would provide the local populace with a chance to get on board. Seems entirely logical to do a listing there and raise some cash at the same time.

Thinking ahead to the 3 year position of 30,000oz. Rough calcs indicate c. $30 million net revenue. Split 50/50 that’s $15 million to Bluebird. With some G&A , probably looking at c. £10million EBIT . Even on a conservative multiple of 4-5x to reflect life of mine, that points to an undiluted market cap of £45 million or 7x current levels.

If the exploration and drilling reveal an expansion of resource LOM etc. And the gold market gets “frothy”, there could be substantial returns from current levels.

Will be interesting to see how this plays out. My shares won’t be going anywhere.

Hats off to the management if they can get the mines into production without diluting shareholders.

Great start to my day

Fantastic news. Good to hear most, if not all will be debt funded too. Nothing to hold this back!

Very good news indeed with plenty of detail. In my view, this underpins a market cap materially ahead of current levels and the funding requirements are small with good use of initial cash flow to fund expansion.
Well done the BOD and I’d envisage the wait by shareholders will be well rewarded.
