Southern Gold the 50% partner is up strongly due to good drilling results in another South Korea project of theirs . I can see logic in these two companies merging , Southern Gold have an exploration portfolio too

The company had/have a plan for funding to bring the mines back into production. Assuming the Kochang permit is now a given, I’d like to see an announcement on how funding will be executed, timescales and an activity schedule/new timeline to first production.
The KORES drilling should also be able to be planned in now.

All this has is potential priced in. How can you say there is no potential priced in, when current revenues are zero?

The Company is of the opinion that the Group has sufficient funding in order to complete the Pre-Construction Phase and to fund the Group’s administrative expenses until 30 June 2019. In order for the Group to be able to continue to meet its administrative costs after 30 June 2019 and to progress the South Korean Projects beyond the Pre-Construction Phase the Company will need to raise additional funding.

The Company estimates currently that it will require USD 1.05 million to fund its share of the costs of the Construction Phase and cover the Group’s working capital needs during the Construction Phase.

From the recent prospectus, it mentioned if permits given they will need to raise about £1m in Debt / Equity. So maybe mr market is waiting for this to be raised first, before heavy buying is seen.

Indeed, I think the big money will be made by buying now with a 3-4 year timescale. I don’t see gold declining from current levels and the fact this is ‘ mine ready ‘ means we avoid the huge development and drilling costs of a green field explorer.

The world is groaning with debt to the extent that it now takes $4 debt to create $1 growth. FIAT is approaching its end game and gold should shine through the next decade as we see more QE and zero rates in a final attempt to keep the illusion going.

Thanks Highly Geared. I had hoped for some more increased interest today with the word getting out, but so often these small companies need (lots of) patience !

We’re around £9million market cap, which is reasonable for where we are. Once Kochang is over the line and funding confirmed, then subject to how funding is done, it should start to move toward a potential earning based scenario.

The assumption of year 1 net revenue share of c. £6 million may ascribe a share price of around 7.5p based on a conservative 4-5x multiple to reflect resources and life of mine based on what’s currently known.

The share moved on the rumour and sold on the news. Why the rumour got out is of course an interesting question - surely nothing to do with wonderful management - taking selfies on their way out to Korea. Idiots.

What is it with the market for resources metals these days? Companies announced that they make progress, have a really low rating with potential not priced in, then the share price drops, it completely beats me. When we get to a bull market for mining companies, just the mention of another company in the same area doing some drilling or developing a mine would send similar companies skyrocketing

It’s quite ridiculous to have a nearly 10% drop on today’s sell volume . I have just topped up, with a the 68000 buy.

Bloody disappointed with today's performance to say the least. It's not as if there has been any great volume here unless there's a biggie delayed sell lurking.

It was interesting to see the price action of Southern Gold to today’s news on the Australian market. They are 50% partners with BMV and made the announcement on their website. The shares were up 12.5% as a result, so quite a similar picture.

Realistically, I’d suggest Q3 2020 for first production. I’d suggest, subject to funding to get to first production, they’ll use initial revenue to fund an ongoing exploration/drilling programme to expand resource and life of mine at both mines.

Assuming a conservative year 1 start up of 20,000 GEOz , gold at $1500 and AISC of $750! BMV operating profit share is c. $7.5 million or c £6million. I expect that to grow as production is ramped up. So, I’d suggest there’s scope for the market cap to move up as we move toward production. Notwithstanding finance debt/equity terms.

Great achievement today - looking forward to the near future, never thought a opportunity like this present it self with directors having a very large slice of the pie and with very few shares in issue - last time I bought a similar company like this was around 15 years ago... bought in at 2p and company got bought out at 22p and we were not even producing - this will easily go into double digits in the very near future
