03/12/2021 08:56 | Chairman and chief executive Jason Kingdon will be placing British research and development, and patents, at risk if the sale is approved. Keeping the Blue Prism headquarters behind the red wall in Warrington ought to be a no-brainer. Kingdon and colleagues were frustrated by the lack of recognition for digital firms on London markets and opened the door to overseas boarders to attract investment. But instead of fighting their corner in the City and in Whitehall they sounded the retreat. The Government is showing an admirable willingness to intervene to preserve Britain’s national and economic security and needs to review this tran | hazl
03/12/2021 08:54 | jias Thanks a good read. 'It is discouraging that British capital markets and the Blue Prism board are not prepared to battle to keep the technology and skills nurtured in Britain in this country.' It is shocking that even when we are supposed to building our country up to being self sufficient that this continues to go on. I have lost faith in fairness of our stock market system in the years I have been following it. | hazl
03/12/2021 08:48 | PUBLIC DEALING DISCLOSURE BY AN EXEMPT PRINCIPAL TRADER WITH RECOGNISED INTERMEDIARY STATUS DEALING IN A CLIENT-SERVING CAPACITY Surely this is interesting and current. But of course I know nothing! | hazl
02/12/2021 16:33 | They SHOULD investigate takeover. Doesn’t mean that the will. But I hope the takeover is blocked. | jias
02/12/2021 13:42 | Daily Mail ( Totally believable! ) has two articles today on the failure of the UK market to support Blue Prism. The Government are watching this takeover closely. They are about to investigate the whole thing. About time too. They are worried about loosing a tech stock to the Americans at a low price. | captain galaxy

26/11/2021 08:09 | Counter bid coming? | paulisi
25/11/2021 23:13 | As mentioned earlier Vista have now bid £12.50 which tops SS&C offer of £12.00 | packman8
24/11/2021 07:28 | Looks like BP have issued an ultimatum, get an official bid on or we go with the original bid.Unfortunately, I don't think there is enough support for the original bid. | paulisi
23/11/2021 06:24 | It’s the other way round - Vista needs 75%, not the shareholders | bigboi92
23/11/2021 06:05 | looks like the Vista deal is done, They have 19% of shares and a voting control over a further 6+% This gives Vista more than 25% of the vote. The shareholder have to have 75% agreement to do anything. We shareholders can not vote to block this as we need 75%. Its over. Its all criminaly wrong. Theft. I hope someone starts court action or calls on Boris to block this. | captain galaxy
19/11/2021 19:16 | I want this bidding war to delay things until mid January when we get the truth about last years trading. They can not carry on calling 27% growth in ARR a 17% growth. The board of directors have to stop lying to us. This should be a 2BN company. I think Blue Prism has a magic money tree that they are trying to cover up to sell to a friend on the cheap. The high profitability comes about by way the robot software is sold. Selling a licence is very clever. Every company leases its company cars because there are big tax advantages and it stops the expenditure appearing as a large one off capital item. we all had a granny that used to rent a TV from radio rentals. Some of them rented the same telly for 30 years or more. We figured they paid for that TV 3 Times over. This is exactly why renting software is so beneficial to BP. Once the licence has run for six or eight years then we get into real profits as the original costs have been covered. The only downside is it takes six or eight years to get to this point. The other reason I like BP is the customer retention. Companies like Ebay can't just quit BP and move to a competitor. They have put 1000s of hours work specifying what is required in custom software. Walking away is not an option. The future is very bright indeed for BP. I'll vote for Alastair. Please come back. | captain galaxy
19/11/2021 17:29 | COULD NOT AGREE MORE WITH YOU ALL VOTE AGAINST BOTH BIDDERS WE NEED A BRITISH BIDDER OR BETTER STILL REMAIN AS IS GET RID OF PRESENT BOARD & Get Allistair BACK!!!!!! | 1madoptician
19/11/2021 16:53 | Hopefully they shall have to put more money on the table to beat the SS&C bid. | packman8
19/11/2021 16:30 | Looks like Bidco have acquired 19.5% of BP shares. This is the vista adviser buying for them. They need a 75% vote in favour to win this. Lets hope they don't get there. Surely with another bidder vista will vote against the ss&c technologies bid. This may just split voting every which way. I am wishing this company to stay British.. and not get sold. Everyone, hold tight and do not sell anything. | captain galaxy |
