07/9/2021 18:52 | I'm sure the business is doing fine peter. It's the shareprice that I'm interested in right now. We'll see if my conclusions are way off; you offer no evidence that they are. | danvandan
07/9/2021 18:46 | Blue prism is doing just fine. YoY growth, blue chip customers, future tech. I feel you’re not familiar with the software Dan, no worries though you keep studying the form 8.3’s and jumping to conclusions (which are way off by the way) | bluepeter1
07/9/2021 18:35 | mccore, you have some catching up to do; I suggest you start reading the RNS announcements. | danvandan
07/9/2021 18:34 | It might be exciting peter, but can Kingdon convert his 'vision' into profitability at Blue Prism and is PRSM able to compete against the other players in that space. Instead of his entry-level primer article for consumers, I'd rather be seeing a piece from Kingdon telling us he's just had an informal lunch with Jeff Bezos (retired) and Satya Nadella and Warren Buffet. | danvandan
07/9/2021 18:21 | DanVanDan : You say that "The more interesting notes are from TPG and Vista's bankers, Goldman Sachs and BofA/Merrill." What makes you think that Goldman / BofA are bankers to TPG and Vista? These two banks cover a lot of the PE space between them anyway, notifications could be related to any client of theirs. BofA have been in and out of this stock at various levels for years now. | mccore
07/9/2021 18:16 | A good post by Jason Kingdon yesterday in computer weekly, it really is exciting tech hxxps://www.computer | bluepeter1
07/9/2021 17:57 | One other piece of evidence; Systematica seems to be standing firm on its short now at 0.87% after some nervous short covering over a couple of days last week when it reduced about a sixth of its short position. I wonder if the Systematica manager has come to a similar conclusion on the genuine-bid-versus-p | danvandan
07/9/2021 17:50 | looks like a normal chart to me after good news . It has formed 'a bowl' as CR would say. If some take profits, it's what it does after that which will be interesting. In other words will it make a 'cup and handle'? | hazl
07/9/2021 17:10 | Is this the end of the rise? We've hit the 200 day MA. | high park
07/9/2021 17:08 | As usual, Investors Chronicle's article on 21 June with a sell guidance was completely wrong. A 50% rise since then. The stack of holding notes over the last few days are interesting if you have the patience to pick through them. L&G and HMI show only that they have neither increased nor decreased their holding notified in May this year. The more interesting notes are from TPG and Vista's bankers, Goldman Sachs and BofA/Merrill. If I am reading these right, they show that Vista is a net seller to the tune of around £12m around the £11.50 area and TPG is a net seller around £12.00. Both TPG and Vista appear to me to be actively trading the shares rather than determinedly stake-building. Because of that, and since neither 'bidder' has in fact confirmed their bid interest, I am at this point sceptical that they are genuine bidders. This could simply be a well-executed pump and dump operation. Happy for anyone to show me otherwise. Hedgies 40 North Latitude seem to have been well-informed, grabbing 4% at the start of the pump, and selling out all of it around £12. What I'm concluding from this is that offers for the business - if one materialises - are going to be around £12. I'm also thinking that there could easily be no bid and that all attention is now on Frank Quattrone to see if he can drum up interest. Any further excitement will probably have to come from a third/genuine bidder. Will there be one? If not, this might be a good short (not for me though, am not that brave or stupid just yet). | danvandan
07/9/2021 12:50 | Lots of weird and wonderful positions being opened this week ..... short termism at best and a distrust the take over may not complete... | hughie1234

07/9/2021 08:38 | Mentioned a few weeks ago weekly MACD golden Cross at the time it was getting decimated..ppl lie charts never lie it is what it is have fun enjoy longside | 5shar
06/9/2021 14:12 | Sellers are taking their profits today but make no mistake, this is Showdown at the OK Corral, it's Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid. It's the cemetery scene next to the 'unknown' grave. It's AYAYAAYAYYYYYY!!!!! Look at the swell of RNSs. They're all lined up but nobody wants to make the first move. But, by Christ, the longer they leave it, the higher the initial bid becomes, the higher the price of gold bullion in the unknown grave. True value ALWAYS prevails; this is a cinematic masterpiece for holders and buyers still to come. AYAYAAYAYYYYYY!!!!! | lsoc85

03/9/2021 18:42 | It's very rewarding seeing them struggling to exit in an orderly fashion. | cocker
03/9/2021 17:30 | Systematica edged their short down another 0.05% to 0.87%. They probably did at least the same again today, trying to quietly slide out without disturbing the shareprice. I bet that the person managing that short will be having an anxious weekend. If they get back to their desk on Monday morning to find news of another bid for PRSM, cooked-up on the golf courses of silicon valley this weekend, they'll be wishing they'd cleared out a lot faster. | danvandan
03/9/2021 16:43 | Patience... people sitting around tables (committees) don't make decisions quickly! | sogoesit
03/9/2021 16:09 | The septics seem to have had a quick sniff at the NYSE open, but have not got much appetite. Could be an interesting weekend. Let's hope Kingdon and the rest get busy. | danvandan
03/9/2021 15:28 | Same sort of thing happening at BOOM. | hazl
03/9/2021 15:24 | I would say 800 to 1200 + is quite a move this week! Bring it on! | hazl
03/9/2021 15:23 | It's Friday! We've had a bit of excitement. I am cheered that companies in particular are singing our praises. The shorters' collude I imagine but I bet they are stinging. Let's see what happens. | hazl |
