The Olympic rules on who may film, where and what are quite comprehensive. The aim is to protect those who have paid for film rights. So amateur providers of film to social media may find that they don't have the best view or any view at all. The Team USA Creators may have been given accreditation but that will have come either by NBC paying for their places or by the NBC team numbers being cut. Either way they won't get the coverage provided by EVS who have the official contract to cover the Games on behalf of the Olympic Committee and the best positions for filming. The video will be edited using BIRD and available very quickly to organisations taking the official feeds. Can anybody do it faster than BIRD?

Market-makers (who control share prices in smaller companies) are known to try and 'tree-shake' investors into selling shares so they can buy them on the cheap.

They drop the share price dramatically in order to shake out scared holders. They often do this when they have a big buy order to fill. Dropping the price means they get instant sellers. Once they've got the shares they need then the price goes back up.

I've learned over the years to spot these tricks and avoid being panicked out of a good share by a sudden manipulated fall.

Hi Hyper. It’s true that Blackbird will be used for the main Olympics video feed, but I’m not sure Bird will be used for these Team USA Creators. Rather than taking the official Olympic feed (using Bird technology) they will be originating their own content. That said, I’m sure that as soon as Elevate is commercially available as a full- fledged product it will be in the box seat for these types of pieces.

None of the startups are working on high profile projects like the Olympics

20 years of Blackbird codec development which has been tried and tested is difficult for a startup to beat.

One startup has discovered this is VERY difficult and they still haven’t launched and I speculate are in trouble.

We are safe, what we have is solid quality and I know what is being planned is going to be very impressive!

This goes way higher, so anything below 10p looks a bargain to me.

Jees, this looks like a spike like all the other spikes in the way down over the last 2 years. Anyone getting in here really need their head examining. At least wait for a pullback and see the A-B-C thing work to the upside for once. Even SSB would say that.

Personally I'm very confident in the technical and managerial quality of Blackbird. They seem to be going about it in exactly the right way, with urgency but also patience to make sure they get things right.My only real concern is the competition from other startups.

Just taken a look at the YouTube creators assigned to Paris as first-of-its-kind “Paris Creator Collective”.

This one is from 'Carter Kench' who has 4.36m subscribers. Note this recent video is from the USA Olympic trials. Note the use of multi camera footage, I assume pulled from the Cloud and edited in, on which platform?
