25/7/2024 16:04 | The RNS for the summer games contract win was announced last year if I remember correctly. | ![]() sickness
25/7/2024 15:32 | Can we have rns tomorrow bird being used for Olympics | ![]() joeblogg2
25/7/2024 14:45 | BIRD was involved with Olympics before EVS via NBC who own the rights. Unless something has changed. No advice BWTFDIK | ![]() sideshowbull
25/7/2024 13:51 | EVS have their own editor and infrastructure Blackbird editor will be used by other clients. It’s more a prestige thing than money. | ![]() nickb
25/7/2024 12:50 | Thanks for the clarification Chris/ John RE the use of olympics by name Other than EVS I wondered , given our tie in with TVU we might be involved there too. . They are using their ecosystem to deliver total cloud solution. I suppose my thoughts are more about promoting our pedigree/proven success we have had when it comes to using our new product. | ![]() tegell1
25/7/2024 12:38 | If the Olympics is more than £100k I would be surprised. | ![]() bonio10000
25/7/2024 12:34 | I think it’s just EVS. We are probably there as back up just incase something goes wrong. The Olympics will make no odds to share price anyway. It’s all about elevate now, cos that’s where the real money will hopefully come from. | ![]() cabi1
25/7/2024 12:33 | Thanks Chriscallen. | ![]() jamesjmb
25/7/2024 12:19 | We shouldn’t need to support EVS at the event so it suggests a deal with some other organisation but OBS seems the most likely as they go onto feeding everyone else with video content | ![]() nickb
25/7/2024 12:16 | Maybe the contract is with OBS | ![]() nickb
25/7/2024 12:15 | jamesjmb It's a direct consequence of having EVS as a customer. BIRD gets revenue from EVS for the usage of its software which is a the heart of a major EVS offering and in addition a potential profit share on top. EVS have the Paris contract so the Olympics are their customer not BIRDs. The only way an announcement can be made by BIRD is if the fees earned from EVS from one of their customers are so large as to become price sensitive and even then to name the parties would usually require their permission. The usual rule of thumb is from memory 10% of turnover or 5% of profits (the latter having no bearing on BIRD currently) | ![]() chriscallen
25/7/2024 12:13 | Chris Mr beast ($100m Amazon deal) now has a full on Hollywood crew! Unfortunately he has been caught up in a big scandal with his co host Ava | ![]() nickb
25/7/2024 12:12 | James, as Chris said, we work for EVS who works for the Olympics, so we probably are 'involved'. | ![]() johnveals
25/7/2024 12:04 | Mr Beast "the 26-year-old from Kansas now has 306 million subscribers and more than 55 billion views" "In March, it was announced he was partnering with Prime Video to create Beast Games which has been billed as "the biggest reality competition series" with 1,000 people competing for a $5m prize." As Prime Video is an Amazon business and AWS helped them with elevate.io I wonder if there is business there for BIRD. | ![]() chriscallen
25/7/2024 11:56 | Why would IM keep mentioning those summer games that he can't name? Surely they must be involved. Or another bit of nonsense? | ![]() jamesjmb
25/7/2024 11:40 | I don't think BIRD is an Olympics supplier. They do their work for EVS which has the contract. So the Olympics are in the same position as any customer that EVS wins i.e. BIRD cannot announce it because it's not their customer. | ![]() chriscallen
25/7/2024 11:23 | Doubt it. The Olympics is a money making racket and they ruthlessly guard their brand and trademarks. | ![]() johnveals
25/7/2024 11:16 | Phil is in France supporting our clients. Still seem unable to mention Olympics officially . Hope that will change. | ![]() tegell1
25/7/2024 09:07 | Max offer 50k @ 7.90p wooooooooooooooooooo | ![]() sideshowbull
24/7/2024 20:53 | Tons more social media creation from the creator base around the olympics "Natasha Bedingfield and Cat Burns to perform at exclusive Team GB x TikTok House Party LIVE from Paris 2024 23 Jul 2024" | ![]() hyper al
24/7/2024 20:03 | £55 per share should do it? BWTFDIK | ![]() sideshowbull |
