Any thoughts on why the trading update made not one reference to revenues, profits or market/management expectations?

Can't say I have ever seen a trading update that skipped all of those?

In fact - to call it a trading update would be a misnomer.

ISA season approaching.

Nice of them to give us a few weeks to get another £20k.

NickB.

10p would be lovely.

I’d buy £10k there.

"What are the key technology issues occupying the minds of the UK’s CTOs? New research commissioned by IBM suggests that the answer is not so much getting their hands on the latest shiny bits of kit, but rather how tech can help deliver faster, smarter, more connected and more profitable businesses – and keep them secure against cyber threats at the same time.

The top priorities over the next two years for the 51 CTOs who were asked – representing a range of company sizes and sectors, and a third of whom are female – are cloud computing (94 per cent), cyber security (90 per cent), and AI and machine learning (80 per cent)."

In my opinion the US market has to be cracked if only because it leads the way, rest of the world will just follow.

I want to buy a big lump but not brave enough just yet, as don’t want to hold them for months. Obviously have my large holdings for the long term, but wouldn’t mind loading up on a few to knock out at 18p+.

So close to gap fill, 13p I think it would be good for the chart, one more sell should do it.

NickB It would help open the biggest market and BIRD seems to be gaining more traction there than elsewhere.

bonio10000 I know it's a big country and Americans think that jumping on a plane is part of every day life - my cousin commutes on Monday from New York State to his office in San Francisco and back on Friday - and they don't need to travel abroad for sun or winter sports. I also know that they speak English but in many parts the culture is actually German, Scandinavian or Spanish. It does have an effect on their outlook and how they do business. In the UK we think nothing of buying foreign goods and produce but its not the same in France or Switzerland for example where they still favour home producers. It's not a criticism it's just a fact of life that takes more effort to overcome.

Chris - you seem to have an issue with the USA.

You realise the USA has the population and size of Europe?

Why would they all need a passport?

Are you still cut up about Brexit or something?

Chris

You are perhaps making a case that an OEM deal with an American company would help open the US market for us.
Interesting🤔

If one looks at the history of mini-pandemics, the longstanding advice from Warren Buffet is “buy when others are fearful” which was seen by many as an almost guaranteed returns booster.
