If the coronavirus continues to spread I wonder if the NAB could be cancelled.

If this drops below 14p I’m having a load. They will be for a punt as we could easily shoot back up to 18p+ on some news. Will use them to sell in and out of just for a bit of fun. Obviously not selling my long term holdings. IMHO.

Feb - all major US networks sign up to BIRD for Olympics. Price triples. Mar - Tokyo Olympics cancelled However the cancellation has made the major networks realise they need the technology the BIRD offers as its a valuable technology with the threat of future global pandemics. Not only that but they now realise how much the BIRD can reduce their carbon footprint. Price continues to rise.

The focus on the virus at the moment is not helping but in even the medium term it is not relevant. So far thank goodness it cannot be compared with Spanish Flu which was first seen in earnest in British troops at Etaples in 1917 but really started to spread in the UK in 1919 as the soldiers were demobbed. It killed mainly younger men and women aged 15 to 45 because it turned the body's own against itself so ironically those with poorer immune systems survived better. This virus though deadly has not yet threatened such devastation. What puzzles me is that the BoD haven't got any good news to report in almost 3 months. If they are not winning anything worth reporting at all why have they got so many people in the UK as the real action is clearly in the USA? "Feed your successes, starve your failures".

Bonio. Alternatively BIRD share price takes off after news that all the major US networks sign up Blackbird for the Tokyo Olympics due to travel restrictions for their employees due to Coronavirus fears.

BIRD to drop 5% on the day it announces 3 OEM deals on the back of an algo death spiral dropping markets 15% as Corona is classed as a pandemic. That is my bet.

No real investors would be selling at this time in the company’s history. Very healthy to see weak holders bailout all makes for a good market.

Tbh it’s all pretty irrelevant – share price movement the last couple days isn’t BIRD underperformance, it’s just handful of people selling 0.1% of the company’s shares. Clearly they were holding the wrong stock. If you’d looked a week ago it was 5% up on the month. None of this will impact in any way whether large customers will do a deal with them, so it’s irrelevant. Either you believe in the BIRD or you don’t.

I agree . The market is fed up with tech companies that promise , or hint , at a lot but don’t deliver . The other problem with Bird is that we have no idea what sort of profits can be expected from the Bloomberg deal . I don’t go along with some of the starry eyed share price forecasts on this board . Without some hard facts or new worthwhile contracts , the current share price is about right in my opinion .

The under performance of BIRD cannot all be attributable to the virus. Over the last month AIM stocks are off by about 2.5% whereas BIRD has dropped by over 10% from 16.25p and much more from the higher point it reached more recently. The answer for the drop I'm afraid is more likely to be the lack of any positive news since December 3rd. The market won't accept words because there have been plenty of those in the past; it wants hard news of contracts signed and nothing else will do. So on what evidence we have there will be no re rating of BIRD until NAB or possibly the week after.

I wouldn't worry about her cabi1 - if you read baracuda2's other comments on her profile she appears to be a 14 yo girl bored of doing her homework. It's actually quite entertaining.

B2. Stop being such a fool. Share price is down because markets are down due to Coronavirus. It’s hardly in free fall, there’s hardly been any selling in notional terms. IMHO.
