I would imagine they are just getting on with it. They signed a 5 year contract with Bloomberg which we knew nothing about. For all we know that could have taken a year to complete. The CEO seems very bullish when you listen to the VOX markets interview. They are hiring. Currently looking for three people, so I would imagine that’s for growth as no one has left. Unfortunately for the share price we have Coronavirus which has everyone spooked. BIRD share price is down but we haven’t seen much selling in notional terms. One announcement and the share price would be straight back up to 18p+ in a blink. I’m ready to invest another £10k just not sure when. Bought small today at 12.7p just to get a print down here. Will see how markets are next week.

Looking at the tape since Monday, the drop has been exaggerated to the max in our terms, but the main markets are looking very bad, the leader is dumping. Tin hat time for us, we will be the quickest to rebound with cash/tech position compared to other AIM etc. Seen it all before, calm. Liking BTC at these levels. BWTFDIK

In re. Headspin: "The startup says it’s more than 1,000 business customers include Airbnb, Google (an investor through its venture arm), Microsoft, TikTok, Uber and Walmart, the largest of which can pay as much as $5 million per year." What do our own largest customers pay, I wonder?

A great example of why small companies/ startups can suddenly be worth a lot of money in the technology industry if they have developed the needed technology solution. The RNSs only practical function was to tell shareholders they would be waiting an extra month or so before getting the accounts or any other news. The fact that gap has been filled is welcome but without some good wins there is still unlikely to be any real impetus behind a price rise before NAB. One or more substantial wins announced there would, as NickB rightly observed previously, open up the whole of the US market to BIRD and then the rest of the world will follow. Unfortunately the wins in 2019 came too late to have a major impact on the income stream even if they hit the ground on the day the announcements were made but they and new wins this year should see the long awaited seismic shift in how the market views BIRD. Break even and profitability could occur even sooner than expected in 2020 and the COO/CFO will at last be gainfully employed. Who knows BIRD may yet create the world domination SBS has had in his sights? £2 this year would reward the very long term shareholders for their patience with the promise of much more to come.
