06/3/2020 10:56 | Cabi - happy to hold gold........ | bonio10000
06/3/2020 10:56 | Nick - because the perception is big news pre-results. Also a new ISA season and my thought is there will be time between 6 Apr and news. | bonio10000
06/3/2020 10:55 | Should really not affect us too much unless people dump and then MMs will take advantage. Watching GOLd on my screen constantly and currently at Double top. Watch the Russel that lead the first dump. VIX is also DT | sideshowbull
06/3/2020 10:51 | Hate to say it, but it’s going to tank. I can see us dropping back into single digits. I think the Dow will get smashed again today. No one will want to be long over the weekend. | cabi1
06/3/2020 10:51 | Is it stock market traders panic buying toilet paper? | nickb
06/3/2020 10:49 | I would not try trade BIRD and I trade other shares like a Turkish market worker - no thanks. Every time they drop it they limit the offer. On another note, people are panicking here in London, just back from the shops and was chaos, trolleys loaded with toilet paper and canned goods. Suppose toilet roll would be a commodity like cigarettes in prison. | sideshowbull
06/3/2020 10:46 | bonio Why would you buy PRE results? | nickb
06/3/2020 10:45 | Someone sold 175,000 @11.75p I wonder if they are hoping to buy them back at 7p Interesting times. | nickb
06/3/2020 10:45 | Cabi My comment was there needs to be something pre-results, not that there won't. If there isn't and there has been 5 months of hot air the price will deservedly tank. | bonio10000
06/3/2020 10:41 | Coulda woulda shoulda I will be buying more pre-results. I'll leave trading for the experts - of whom 90% lose money. | bonio10000
06/3/2020 10:26 | Bonio you must be tempted to sell that 200k you bought as 7.4p. Buy them back at 7 next week, as I think the markets are f&cked for the next few months with this virus about. | cabi1
06/3/2020 07:28 | They need to release something pre results or this will be 7p. Late April would be 5 months with nothing. Lucky they raised money to pay salaries. | bonio10000
06/3/2020 07:24 | Well if no NAB then nothing stopping them releasing the OEM deal. However it may be not the best idea in the current climate. | sideshowbull
06/3/2020 07:11 | Hopefully our travel costs are refundable. Ultimately just a Beano for some sales guys. Train into London is half empty. Can't think why. Still, firms, apparently, wouldn't be able to cope with some extra forms post Brexit. So must just be luck people are adapting work habits. | bonio10000
06/3/2020 07:05 | More calls and interest from IM. It's like a telethon in the sales office. Translation to income will be nada. | bonio10000
06/3/2020 06:17 | Not looking good for NAB. More firms pulling out. | cabi1
05/3/2020 22:52 | Good grief, we could do with a positive RNs from bird. What a time to go quiet.. | mcsean2164
05/3/2020 20:54 | I have always believed in our BIRD. I thought and still think the huge "pay day" will be from rights ownership (player). I think now, taking on and using BIRD is not an okay, we will go to cloud eventually model. It is a wake up and we need to go to cloud NOW! model. IMO BWTFDIK | sideshowbull
05/3/2020 17:40 | Blackbird get a disappointingly small entry in that very long article. :-( I think that there is a lot more to remote working apart from video editing in the cloud. I guess that's why it is sensible to pitch Blackbird to OEMs, to form part of a (more) complete remote working package. | gnnmartin
05/3/2020 17:24 | Good post. | bonio10000
05/3/2020 16:57 | “We’ve seen a significant increase in sales enquiries from all over the world in the past few weeks,” reports chief executive Ian McDonough...” | nickb
05/3/2020 16:43 | Tweets & replies Media Likes Stephen B. Streater’s Tweets Stephen B. Streater @video4me · 39m The cloud has been ready for some time. This virus looks like the trigger for the industry to embrace #cloud #video @blackbirdcloud adrian pennington @pennington1 Will coronavirus accelerates the reinvention of work? | nickb
05/3/2020 16:24 | Possible. I’m not sure what the definition of OEM is these days as their is so much overlap in companies products and services. Company will reveal the names soon I would imagine. | nickb
05/3/2020 15:39 | Would AWS want to use BIRD for its own services? e.g. AWS Elemental "AWS gives organizations of any size the ability to implement flexible and scalable video processing for highly distributed and personalized access to video. Whether you need live or on-demand content, extend your reach to stakeholders and broaden your impact with video solutions which enable a broad range of corporate streaming video applications. AWS Elemental provides components in a turnkey, virtualized or cloud-based deployment, resulting in unmatched flexibility, reduced cost, and faster time-to-market. AWS Elemental video solutions are ideally suited for the following applications: Sales and marketing events Product launches User conferences Investor meetings Live webinars Townhall meetings Corporate channels User-generated content Support and training videos How-to guides" That looks like it meets Ms definition of an OEM | chriscallen
05/3/2020 15:16 | Blackbird insightful article from IBC today asking media industry leaders if they think the spread of coronavirus will hasten the transition to remote production. Contributing to the feature, Blackbird CEO, Ian McDonough, commented: "Blackbird can be used by anyone, anytime, anywhere and this flexibility is enormously attractive to enterprises looking to drive massive video productivity efficiencies through their operations.” | nickb |
