my guess is that someone is holding a large long position open at a charge of £899 by the MM. (.095 - .09438) x 1,450,000.

Dear Mr Evans

The financing efforts are underway and the Board is confident that the financing will be found in time. Of course, there is the possibility that it won't be but that is not the scenario we are working towards. As I said the Board remains confident that the business will be refinanced.

It is indeed our plan to rename the company Smartlogik PLC. Smartlogik does indeed have a great future. Its management is credible and professional, its business model is one that The City understands. Its product range is highly competitive and it has been signing up some outstanding customers and partners, even during the current crisis.

Regards

Guys I really hope BSN do make it for you as I hate people losing money.
But it would NOT surprise me if one day soon they announce the end of the road.

Wasn't there an agreement with Dan Wagner that he had to get the price of BSN up to £2.40 by 2002? Correct me if I'm wrong. Perhaps this is still an aim for BSN. Do you know anything about this Ahead-Computers.com.

I've been with Bright Station for over a year and feel I know the stock very well.....

If they have their strategy right which I reckon they're spot on (Dan Wagner has been a bit of a let down - sad to say).

You'll both be laughing BIG TIME....... I reckon this will be up towards 50p + in the not too far distant future.

I'm not sure what Haystacks game is......... Man he must be seriously short or have realised a big loss...... Chill or you'll make yourself ill....

I have cut and pasted the last year in the life of Bright Station !!!!

All the best

Paul V...

PS. I hope you are utilising your ISA to the max

RB mate chill no worries here IF you have the courage which I think you do,
From the current price (and below where I got in) we will have the last say. I have 40% of my portfolio in BSN (which is way too much) but real opportunities like this dont come along that often.

When its dark you can see the stars.

i understand your eternal pessimism - clearly you have been burnt by bsn or you are shorting one of the two. personally i cant see the shareholders getting nothing - there has to be a fair value for the sum of the parts ie all the investments for example 1.27% in sopheon. with this transaction today by newton it leads me to think the situation in hand is better than it was. unless of course it is something to do with the adr or some other technical reason (as has been pointed out on iii bb) in which we are not aware of. i think it would be prudent by the bsn board to come out with an announcement at this stage even if its just to say that refinancing negotiations continue ''with a degree of confidence'' attached - bearing in mind that it has now been over 2 weeks since the last rns relating to this. are all the large shareholders just going to sit there and lose their entire investment? i doubt that and any significant reduction in shareholding would have to be announced by way of afx/rns. personally i am rather more confident than i was but a timely announcement would not go a miss.

There are plenty of notifyable interest trades that are not announced within 5 working days. I still believe that the shareholders are going to get left with nothing.
