15/5/2001 20:57 | Jonc, Thats not going to happen IMHO. I dont know I cant win, If I post how positive I am on this stock I will sound like a ramper yet if I dont no one will ever know that I got this one right....What is one supposed to do in a situation like this ? Spear | spear
15/5/2001 20:46 | Spear, The downside is that they cannot refinance and they are placed into receivership. | jonc
15/5/2001 20:24 | rb... Tell me the downside....please, I cant see any surely there must be some. Spear | spear
15/5/2001 18:57 | fine your view but surely to a certain extent would'nt you say that the entire stock market is fuelled by rumour and speculation i'd be interested to know what stocks you may have in your portfolio regards tim | raging bull1
15/5/2001 18:24 | Yes. You could say that all sells are buys. That is true in the strictest sense. However if a trade goes through at the bid then by convebtion it is regarded as a sell. I am sure that if a large trade went through at the offer then there would be people coming out of the woodwork saying 'it's a buy, it's a buy'. | haystack
15/5/2001 17:41 | haystacks have a good read on the iii bb from crazyhorse79 who incidentally has been inspirational during the course of the last few weeks or so. you may change your mind. and i can vouch for his credibility regards tim p.s read all crazy's posts and form your own opinion | raging bull1
15/5/2001 17:38 | haystack, it was a buy and a sell, (effectively) regards l.l. | lancslad
15/5/2001 16:54 | RB Thanx I am in at 10p to average down from ridiculous prices which I bought at eariler. I now have the view that it is an out and out gamble if they survive then it will have paid of not then.... Best of luck to all those that hold. | viren
15/5/2001 16:54 | Agreed but the point is it was effectively a sell and not an MM to MM. | haystack
15/5/2001 16:42 | nicely put l.l. regards tim | raging bull1
15/5/2001 16:36 | haystack,it would also show some enthusiasm to buy the shares. regards l.l. | lancslad
15/5/2001 16:09 | Well I imagine that will be the condition of the finance... no more DW. Sure its a gamble, but that applies to being short as well. In at 8 pence so double or nothing I guess. | forfaiter
15/5/2001 16:06 | An X is NOT MM to MM. That is an M. An X is a cross between two parties other than MMs. Usually one institution swapping to another at mid price. This was unusual in that it went at the bid price. That would indicate some enthusiasm to sell the shares. | haystack
15/5/2001 16:05 | who the f..k is lurkalot | makeu
15/5/2001 15:50 | RB If there is no large dumping then what was the 2mil+ sale earlier today. Any views on that. | viren
15/5/2001 15:50 | no problem you will note that the trade in question is marked x x = agency cross/mm to mm with no actual effect on normal business - hence the price did not fall off a cliff regards tim | raging bull1
15/5/2001 15:47 | Bright's Stations boss has failed to deliver on one too many occasions. Haystacks is right. Closing down sale is most likely, with everything (well actually, just one thing...) on offer at a knock down price. Maybe Mike Lynch could be persuaded to put in an offer :-) | tankertop
15/5/2001 15:25 | They sold Office Shopper to another office supply company for a song. I would imagine that they were the only potential buyer. I had an Email this morning from the buyer 'Inkwell'. They were clearly after the potential customer list. I say potential list because although I was on the list, I had never bought anything from the site and never would as they were too expensive and too slow on deliveries. I replied to OfficeShopper-Inkwel | haystack
15/5/2001 15:09 | Also makes you wonder how they sold Office shopper? Why not wait? | forfaiter
15/5/2001 14:14 | somehow i doubt that suffice to say a little birdie has told me otherwise. regards tim | raging bull1
15/5/2001 14:09 | I am of the the opinion that no money will be forthcoming and the company will go into liquidation. Interested parties will then buy Smartlogic plus anything else that is of interest from the liquidators for the amount owing to creditors. This would mean that BSN shareholders would get nothing. | haystack
15/5/2001 13:50 | l.l. well said ttt regards tim | raging bull1
15/5/2001 13:42 | R.B. i agree with you, i did my own research and bought in on monday,i think if anyone goes short on this one, they will get there fingers burnt, best regards l.l. | lancslad |
