Next question then becomes, do you use your dividend to buy more of what’s left? In effect increasing your concentration to the remaining value

Expected drop on ex div, after all this business’ value is based on its assets not its future cash flows, but the question to ask is if the share price has dropped by the div amount has it made what’s left worth more, against lower share price? and I’d argue yes.

It is now 2.0 - 2.5 which is very close to being down by the, almost 0.6p, dividend.

Price is actually higher, they could have took the full 0.6p off and been 1.9-2.4p

Hope nobody sells today, according to the Rns you have to be on the register tomorrow not today to collect it so if that is true anybody selling today is throwing money away. I'd not even think about selling tomorrow either to be safe.

mm's certainly trying to kill off the momentum now

2.5-2.9p

Just 15k available online at 2.9p and bid is a miserly 2.56p.

Might as well hold and make a good profit from all the dividends coming if they will not price this fairly in the market.

50k sold at 2.56p what a mini gift to the mm

2.9p paid yesterday and just 25k offered at 2.9p online prior to that trade.

mm's very short of stock now

How is this not a attractive investment ?

The losses were down to write offs. If you look at the cash position, they had $9 mil end of H1 and by year end they had $9.2 million after paying their final payment to the FTC of $500k so in the last 6 months they still increased their cash by $700k.

Sure the long distant business is in decline but they always cut costs to match it. It will probably be would down to nothing or sold off for maybe £1. The wifi business must be worth something though.

And the cash is = to 4.25p and the current bid is 2.3p which is almost a 50% discount so no way I'm selling down here when there could be 5p a share or more coming our way via special dividends when hopefully a sale of business is made.

Is the dividend really 20%? But spread is painful at around 15%. Big losses & revenue shrinking. Discussions with possible buyers for all or parts of the business. Is this an attractive investment on any count?

Mms want full 2.7p now...should be trading over 3p minimum clear it's worth the cash value.

The market makers are only going to "give it a nudge" if someone buys a few hundred thousand shares.

Given what cash they generated in the second half I still believe they might recover a lot of the cash used to pay the dividend so at the end of the year cash balances might not have changed but we have all got a 0.6p dividend out them.

The market makers are not interested in giving it a nudge. I would have thought that news was worthy of a mark up on the bid but still blood out of a stone.

4.25p cash v sub 2.7p offer, value will out in the end

I guess you could view it as getting 25% of the current share price for less than 25% of the net assets.

So it does confirm the undervaluation

But i'm really not seeing this as a dividend in the usual sense, just a gradual disposal of the company's assets to its shareholders. I expect the share price to drop when it goes ex div

Very glad I hold mine in a SIPP and am not facing an income tax bill on it though

I'm happy with that. Hold 800k now so that's a £4800 dividend.

And the company generated $720k second half so they might end this year with similar cash levels after the dividend has been paid.

Slow burner but in the end you should make 50-100% from this stock.
