All the reported profit is accounted for by $6.1 million of adjustments to indemnification reserves related to class action litigation. The underlying business is running at a loss and the report flags up their deteriorating business environment. Looks like a classic value trap.

Since the directors own, between them, almost £5 million worth of shares at these depressed prices I am confident that they will be making all possible effort. I am sitting on a modest loss but I think that it is worth the risk since there could be serious upside from the low marked cap, of around £9 million, if it goes well.

reading between the lines it sounds like the company have created a billing service completely independent of the LECs, that sounds like a huge opportunity to me

These came up on a new lows screening I run now and again.

I fail to see how anybody half-competent could conclude that these were trading at a discount to tangible assets.

These are not for me. I hate murky situations and complexity. I'm too stupid to make money in such circumstances.

The value is close to zero in my view - another Mellon disaster. Do any of his public investments actually succeed? He peddles the Buffet of the UK image, but as far as I can make out he is a million miles away from being a Buffet.
