03/8/2007 10:09 | Someone and others know a story or a sppof which has brought the price down suddenly this morning. The bokers were bidding 2.44 so I believe something spooked the market, so some one knows something. | ![]() 7767
03/8/2007 10:02 | What is there to support the share price? - takeover prospects are less, due to lending costs. However, the cheaper it gets, the more vulnerable it will be to predators. On the other hand, shorters are having a ball. All in my humble opinion. | ![]() johne1

01/8/2007 10:31 | Does anybody know how long the dividend takes to come through as the payment date was yesterday,it`s the only hope of making any money from this stock! | awe430save132
01/8/2007 09:55 | At first glance BIFF does not look a bargain with a forward p/e of 17x. With Private Equity having its wings clipped the immediate hope of a t/o must be receding. | simon gordon

30/7/2007 12:25 | At least you can be guarenteed not to be alone when you have a few bad trades. You can be in my club ;0) I personally can not believe that this has dropped so much but also think that it has further to go. The RSI has been oversold for months and looks like the support is at 240p but then again in the current climate I can see this breaking that price again within the next 20 trading days. I personally trade on graph patterns which make it all the more difficult to guess where this is going. At the moment it just seems to be falling down the stairs and certainly hasn't got to the bottom. On a positive note I think the further it falls the more attractive it looks to a takeover. But money aint cheap anymore and it could be sometime before a bid comes in for BIFFA. However, the mere talk of a take over will focus a few peoples attention to this share and then traders might realise that it's cheap. At the moment I'm out of the market and will not trade at all in the next 10 days, regardless of how attractive shares look. I think the worst days are still to come and then we'll have a fire sale. | ![]() ialwayswinatmonopoly
30/7/2007 00:42 | I have to be the worst trader ever...... well, ok, not the worst. I felt sure that BIFFA would be snapped up some time this year, and when the share price started to hover around 260, I thought I'd better dive in otherwise I'd miss it (having been watching since April). The plan was to put a limit buy in of the shares, while at the same time putting a limit sell in on the spread 5p lower than current. I figured if I hedged it I could afford to hang on for longer. Problem1, not seeing the AGM date, my limit buy at 257 was executed and the price promptly fell to 244. Problem2, forgetting to put the limit sell in on the spread. So I panicked and did it anyway (at 246). So now I'm down a little on the shares, but down a lot on the spreads. damnit! A good idea, very poor execution. I then see people are now recommending this as a buy. damnit. I was hoping for a drop to 220, then a bid of 400-450p...win win... | ![]() ideal420 |
