21/7/2007 11:51 | There were some heavy buying yesterday. I have an intuitive feeling that the bottom has reached and the rise should follow now. Also service sector showed strong growth in yesterday GDP data which stood at 0.8%. | watwungyi

20/7/2007 20:29 | patricktrfc - 20 Jul'07 - 12:40 - 811 of 811 Don't state things like that whilst UL7RAVIOLET is looking in - I think he is trying to short sell the shares - don't let him know I told you though. | johne1
20/7/2007 12:40 | The one thing with Biffa is that it is in a sector that is ripe for consolidation and with the current depressed share price there are bound to be a few potential suitors having a sniff around. Could open the Sunday papers and see £3.75 offer just like that. Worh a good punt as unlikely to go much lower and upside in terms of a rebound or a bid is far more probable. P | patricktrfc
20/7/2007 11:32 | looking for another leg down.£2.50 area. | ul7raviolet
20/7/2007 11:23 | A friend of mine a Biffa driver is on a warning for not having the right attitude and this after he almost lost a finger in a work accident a year back it makes you wonder. | mitzis
20/7/2007 11:18 | Edmond? How many have you seen loitering around at 4 am when the real hard work is being done? only judge them after you have judged yourself. David. | davidoj
20/7/2007 10:25 | There were about 4 of them, loitering around. Strange but maybe awaiting something. Recycling still not collected at 3pm. My local council is now monitoring performance. Not a compelling story/valuation for me to buy into yet, calling a turn, but watching! | edmondj
20/7/2007 10:21 | 3m shares trad at today, price hold well. it is sign this is bottom. any comm, please..... | jdung

19/7/2007 16:50 | These brokers just react to whatever short-term angle as an excuse to get clients to churn, I am not put off by recent 'sell' recs but do want a firmer sense of value, to buy. Curiously, I spotted a Biffa waste recycling lorry parked inconspicuously in a local lovers' spot this afternoon. Hmmm, not exactly on the job! | edmondj
19/7/2007 16:24 | Sorry Ultra couldn't wait, nice T20 at 267ish....when this gets to 290, will be the easiest most relaxed £500 I have ever made, unlike my usual risky picks. Ahh, can feel those twenties heading my way now. P | patricktrfc
19/7/2007 16:09 | Yes sir!!!! | johne1
19/7/2007 13:07 | Ul7raviolet,your crystal ball could be right!! | 46pete
18/7/2007 21:45 | The headline from CS research department is: Biffa's profits to be towards the lower end of market expectations. Downgrade rec. from Hold to Sell. This was 4/4/2007. I use CS and I should've noted this recommendation before I bought in several days ago. I have since closed. The chart does not look good. I guess there may be bounces but will they be sustained? DYOR etc Good luck. | mart
