My point exactly. You can bet on a falling share price but your bet has no effect whatsoever on the share price. 80% of CFD users lose their money. Shorters actually drive the share price down. The only people who short AIM stocks are institutions involved in the next placing.

Retail investors can short! I haven't done so but have taken out CFDs which was a bad and costly move.

So you could use the likes of spreadex and IG(others available) to move a shareprice in a requested direction

People don't know the difference between spreadbetting and shorting. On the markets and AIM in particular only institutions can short for the process involves borrowing shares from one another. Institutions do not lend shares to retail investors.
