The sudden urgency to stimulate sellers is certainly a tell....

I thought you realised today's work was counterproductive? Good news for us, welcome back. Remind us all how desperate you are to exit those precarious positions asap. Enough to post all day tomorrow as well? Surely if this is going to fall every day next week you can chill till at least Wednesday? Time to relax dude, it's on your side.

Sorry Tom - before June 1st there were very very few/ no derampers and it wasn’t even on your radar.

Then along came Tim Kempster and co.

As a follow on from Yump’s Blinkx reference. Acquired by Taptica (‘The Israelis!’) (Now Tremor) for $176m.

It’s where I learnt the ins and outs of this business model.... very profitable.

RoleyBirkin - "Incessant de-ramping this last week or so does smack of a little desperation"

The deramping has always been there as it is on all active threads. What's different this time is that the share price is aligning itself with the deramp comments. When the share price falls the positive posters disappear as many sell up so three of four derampers that have always been there appear to look like a crowd.

Some of us in the ‘older’ generation have been advertising in all sorts of ways online since 2000.

So after BIDS what’s the next great new ad method ?

Probably worth researching the history of the company formerly known as Blinx who were/are revolutionising video advertising or not.

Certainly plenty of revenue available and looking for a new home in new ad methods.

Imagine a scenario where a brand managers asks their agency to put their ad space into games that BIDs owns the right to...

Agency: “Oh sorry sir, we don’t have any inventory there.”

Brand Manager “No worries, we’ll go to the next agency that does”

Agency: “Hold on sir, let me sort an agreement out with Bidstack”

BIDS: “yes agency, here’s an agreement template we made earlier - but be quick.. we’re selling like hotcakes!”

Roley your sentiment towards James I feel, too.
Even though my judgement is from a distance and can't be truly informed.
I feel there are a whole lot of people ready to criticise that wouldn't have the first idea how to begin managing such a innovative concept in a practical way.
I mean who do they think they are!

‘Up to’ sounds like legal caveats.

These agencies are billion pound agencies...

Do you recon they will be worrying whether it’s ‘up to’ £10m or not?

Immaterial to them and I recon it’ll be more like ‘more than £10m’ come year end when everyone is tripping up for a piece of the limited pie.

Note the Atlantic report specifically highlights the age bracket the 30's. .I qualify for just over another a year and have seen the evolution of consoles from atari all the way through to PS4 and switch - although the latter through the eyes of eldest children. .This age group will easily be able to grasp the concept. Generally, and I don't mean offence to any one on here, but some of the grey haired generation will not appreciate the enormity of the gaming industry especially e sports. They probably can't believe people will watch others play computer games. .For the younger generation, ie under 21s, native adverts would come as no surprise as ads have been slipped into all the social media apps they use.

Isn't it an 'up to' £10M deal?

Very true RB. I’d be happy with that answer from Draper.

He has an army of backers.

He will reward our faith as and when he can.

The narrative is simply... this is tough and the team are working hard to give the big boys what they want but they are starting to see the rewards.

Can’t wait to see what the ‘big name’ game developer is. Revenue or no revenue - that’ll reverberate through the whole industry.. advertisers as well as games developers. BIDS means Biz!

Hope they don’t manage to close by then because we know what Codemasters did to the share price

Money,

My view would be that the announcement of 'the £10m deal' has set about a panic within the small band of likely shorters... That would make total sense as for the first time Bidstack are close to generating some tangible revenue, and anyone shorting (let alone a professional team that has worked together to short in size) may now have an issue closing their positions.

So, expect more of the same from the shorts... and for the deramping to get more hysterical and increase in numbers... and it is getting all a little hysterical now.

So, what is there narrative?
- Drapers a liar
- Drapers a fraud a cheat and
- Drapers a criminal who should be in prison

So, what is the answer. How does a James Draper and the board at Bids combat them?
- Just deliver the 2019 numbers - we know they are poor as already announced so deliver them and get focused on 2020
- I would advise the board to commence delivering monthly revenue numbers - show the market that month on month growth is real and happening
- Focus on delivering that next Publisher deal - you have alluded that it is close
- Focus on building the business.........

And, good luck to James. Let's be clear, lesser men may have collapsed under the incessant unfair criticism but James is more focused than ever. And in that I know and trust.

Nice Girdz!

Best thing about Bidstack is that surface observers don’t get it which is what the research alludes to.

It has created a monster of asymmetric information between those that truly understand the drivers of value here and how the industry as a whole operates and those that pop by and have a very clear but superficial agenda.

So much value here just in knowing how it all works and they can not fathom it.

Bet the de-rampers would have shot down the thought of a £10m deal a week or two ago. Or an ‘upfrontieR17;. I had a feeling that we’d be bulk selling the inventory. That’s how the Appnexus and the trade desks of the world work. Buy the inventory up and sell it higher!

Atlantic Capital last tipped Bidstack April/May of 2019 and we saw the price rise that came about after that piece of research.

Incessant de-ramping this last week or so does smack of a little desperation as it comes across as a concerted effort. It certainly is not to help us poor unintelligent retail investors so there attack has to be questioned?

So what does the month of January bring???
