Fudge, the moment you buy the shares they aren’t hard earned cash anymore. They are a piece of business.

What you worry about is a market price ascribed by a small proportion of buyers and sellers.

That’s not your hard earned cash, that’s someone else’s transaction price.

We ALL value our hard earned cash it's just that some are better or more experienced at managing certain situations.

Whatever got your attention on this share or whether you bought or not, you should have been relying on your own decisions to choose to invest or not. Lots of us are excited, with or without patience and plenty are more sceptical or impatient. Fair enough. If others shift their position or change their holding that should not be a sole criteria for readjusting your own. Invariably we all succumb to varying degrees to the influencers around us. I may have not known the whole story when I first bought in but I certainly did as my holding went up and I see no reason to sell any unless some significant bad news occurs and in the mid term that seems unlikely.
A lot seems to be going pear shaped at the moment, bids isn't one of them..

After listening to JW today, i get the feeling hes realised that he was infact hyping Bids way to much. Remembered a couple of pods cast ago, he was saying news within a month, and banging on about it. JW reads these boards and over the last week, hes been slated abit for sayting things like that. I think after the interview he did with JD this week, hes just realised that news is alittle further away than he first thought, so hes covering himself!

I feel that JW still very much believes in bids and feels it will still multi bag from todays price, but as now realised that he was responsible for some of the hype. Hes just toned it down, thats all.

Seems a bit odd.

I am way over exposed in Bids, and am happy with that position as it could become a huge player. Yes, the stock Market is way over valued and due a correction, if not a crash, and bids wont be immune. However, if great news starts to come in, it will climb dramatically whatever the state of the markets, so i will stay put. Also I could never forgive myself if i sold too early.
I am prepared to take the risk.

Lukehold, you are quite right, JW goes on to say "I'm willing to scale back into Bidstack on news". Well, I'm personally not sure that trading is the right thing to do here, but if he sold out in the high 30s well done to him, personally, through experience I know that trading doesn't tend to work in the long run - maybe because I'm just not talented enough? However, simply holding tight to a stock you are confident in seems to work for most people.
No-matter what he says, I think JW has proven himself to be a 'trader'!

....and now probably re-bought the ones he sold by the sound of it. Best just to buy and hold this one. news can come anytime and it would seem to appear plenty of it.

Thing is a few months ago CEO went on a podcast and said multiple major news items were about to land, yet nothing has. Always take interviews with a pinch of salt.

Listen again 38mins if you can bear to hear the dithering, says it's time to scale back in, in time for news. He's clearly previously top sliced and derisked probably at 36p.

He had already derisked to be down to 6% at 38:20 he talks about now its time to scale back into bidstack, as there has been a fallow period of news and were about to hit a rich period of news.

JW's says in today's podcast is:
"I still think it [BIDSTACK] will still be one of the stars of AIM, definitely"

He's still quite bullish, but then he has changed his tune from just a few weeks ago.
The gaming sector we're in is new .. a new digital frontier... I think we know all know here that this is unchartered territory, where revenues could quite easily be in the billions if we get this right.

When the FANGS got past $100M I'm sure many pundits were saying it's hard to double in share price from there, yet we know how the story panned out for them.

Hold tight to your winners to make money, BIDS hasn't even got a big supply-side contract yet, and it sounds like some big demand-side businesses are about to sign. This really could be the tip of an iceberg...
