Jan news

Bidstack's platform is live in both FM18 and FM19 with approximately 1m impressions per day in Asia alone in December 2018;

Note this line

'particularly good traction for FM19 in Asia.'

Asia population is about 60% of the planet 4.5 bill

US and Europe 1.1 bill

The admission document

Football manger

Based on evidence gathered during the trial phase, this generates around 25 million potential impressions per day.

Peterhouse formed their note from those details.

In the note for H1 they use 24 LIVE games and 54 million impressions per day.

The impressions per day is the calculation format for revenue.

So v the 54 million used per day their probable top game as stated by them, Asia was doing 1 mill per day.

SuperG,

On what page of the note does it refer to 25m impressions per day?

As McFly pointed out, I see on page 5 - up to June 2019 - 54m impressions AVAILABLE per day, but with an assumed fill rate of 13%.

That equates to 7m impressions per day.

Where do you get 25m?

Asia has the biggest population therefore should have the most FM sales?

Are you in the real world?

I'd be more concerned about VRS having not even sold £40k worth of graphene in FY18 despite having full hoppers & requiring staff to cancel holidays, SG.

re

'You misinterpret so much.'

'FM: 1m impressions per day IN ASIA ALONE.'

NOT: only 1m impressions per day Worldwide.

Pay attention to the news, its you misrepresenting things

They use 25 mill impressions per day in the note.

They use 1 mill per day for Asia alone in news. WHY do that? Asia covers the majority of the population.

You think the minority cover and extra 24 mill.

It's a numbers dodge, avoiding putting the total figure worldwide in as it would look very poor v the 25 mill in the note.

Notes are BS I warn about that time and again. The Peterhouse note is way off on the numbers it uses to calculate revenue, it therefore follows that revenue is also way off forecast.

I see buys are way above sells, yet the share price is down, so who, knowing the real circs, is selling.

The Nomad knows, the main guys at the nomad, they refuse to comment on the points raised.

I'll post the Asia comments from news.

Lots of interesting posts from those with positive and negative views recently. At the moment I am going with those wearing the rosy glasses and hope that James and team can deliver some big news going forwards. It is the potential here that is exciting but some alliance/contract news with some indications of income are what we need now to show that all the impressive appointments and other building blocks are working. Tend to agree we need a little more patience for these to come after the US meetings and any other meetings that may have taken place. These things take time to get right.

Found this piece which I don't think has been shared before:

“As we have said previously, our intention is to grow Bidstack to become a significant media owner in the video games market. While we continue with organic development, I believe the purchase of Pubguard, our first venture into growth by acquisition, is just the start of what we see as an aggressive growth period."

I don't think a CEO should say such things in the public domain unless being open and transparent about their goals. Trouble is we know that many a CEO has actually said such things and the companies don't exist anymore, so we need James to show his colours and build a trustworthy/dependable reputation that people can count on when saying things in future.

Absolutely. The market knows about JDs statement on revenue split being markedly second half weighted so it will be priced in.

Everyone work on the assumption that there will be £0 H1 revenues, position accordingly and swoop if there are market inefficiencies at play.

Let’s put the revenues behind us now ey SG. Potential is what we are all invested in right now - timing is irrelevant.

nice posting this evening from many people.

I am still unsure why those who don't like this share/investment/risk continue to post. IF you are waiting for revenue data then sit and wait for it without constantly repeating the same issues you have.

IF you want a conversation, then fair enough, but it is clear you don't and have probably blocked the ones you don't like or don't understand.

I expect there may be a ' I told you so' but i bet there wont be the grace to say ' i was wrong' if it goes the other way.

Ignoring revenue targets is completely fine if you plan to sit and hold for several years, and you're happy to withstand potentially significant paper losses in that time because you believe in the company.

However, if you have a low tolerance to even paper losses, it's perfectly valid to pay attention to revenue expectations, even at this early stage, as results compared to those expectations will trigger some of the most significant price moves.

More than one way to skin a cat in investing griffin, not everybody approaches things the same way. Your last comment was quite arrogant.

If people investing at this stage in a tech company are concerned about revenue then they have entirely missed the point. What matters is speed, growth, scale and dominance. Has BIDS built the right team with the right capabilities to protect and scale the company? Has it got the depth and breadth of advisors and non-execs to connect and drive growth at speed? Is it prepared to use cash and sacrifice initial profits to complete dominance in the sector? Based on evidence to date, yes on all counts. I believe James has executed superbly so far and has placed BIDS in the best possible place to be the key winner in this race. If he and team continues to deliver like this, they will win this race, and the revenue and profits will follow. People talking about revenue forecasts are so removed from understanding dynamic tech it's laughable, they need to shuffle off and go invest in bonds, or preferably get someone to manage their investments for them.
