Hi Douglas,

if you have been following you will have seen that there are two views as to the hope/potential balance - thats what makes the stockmarket work afterall.

If you had been offered a chance to buy amazon/spotify/uber etc when they were being emotionally pitched and loss making / lacking revenue you would have had the same dilemma. We may be over reaching with those comparisons we may not...

I don't think you are missing anything, only that you have a different appetite for risk or investment decisions. You may have benefitted by holding back but sooner or later you have to decide whether to buy shares or not and it is only your decision.

I have built a large holding including some buys in the upper 30's but overall averaging around 25p and willing to wait out months or years for this to play out.

gd afternoon all...new to this board..and in need of some educating pls....

have followed Bids for a while now...and hve just listened to thge latest from JW...(who I do feel rather does overdo the excitement/hyperbole more often than not)...anyways....have to say I did get the impression that this was all rather a PR morale boosting exercise for the followers of JW and assorted memmbers of various chat rooms..this one being no exception.
Thats all fine and dandy...but where I'm struggling is with the investment case.Have read a lot of the v knowledgeable and clearly well informed posts on here, but cant get away from the very strong emotional bias that comes through many of the posters contributions.
Of course E-Sports,gaming etc is huge ...but...and this for me is this nub of it...until there is a a super positive contract announcement which is clearly seriously earnings enhancing...if i were to take a position now..would it not be on hope/hype/fomo value rather than anything else.?
In addition ..sp has moved from circa 6p not so long ago..so is still stood at plus nearly 500%....
Am I missing something?

James Draper has one goal only, to make #BIDS the only game in town. Anzu prostituting itself to WPP brings that dream one step closer. ??

Great podcast. JD and his team are being so careful in the manner in which they grow the company. Eyes on the real prize and undistracted by temptations which lie by the roadside. Refusing good deals from West Coast companies in preference for remaining an independent TRUSTWORTHY media conduit for the entire industry. Massive win getting Pubguard in at 34.5p, and beta-testing of their systems had already started in abridged of going live in just a few weeks.And... This is just the start...

live summary, so some light paraphrasing but as tight as i could.

Of course a ceo will be bullish but its hard to see this being a problamatic investment. Many issue raised here have been addressed even as hints.

Of course the head of a company thats just been bought out with a hatful of shares will be bullish but if you want to feel the potential it is all there.

listen to the words, listen to the words that are unspoken and feel the vibe...

JW reiterates his inability to share information.

first time meetings at E3, Games com, timescales, 3 years of work in 1 and all on track.

JW asked about Anzu and their fundraising, validating concept.

JD agrees that this is a validation of the sector, though he still wants to come out on top. did large amounts of research on why the previous in game advertising space collapsed last time. Massive inc. Loss of neutrality was a key cause, alignment with microsoft blocked out other companies. hints that Anzu has lost its neutrality because it benefits advertisers rival in WPP.

BIDS wants to stay as neutral as possible for as long as possible. Have already had approaches that have been rebuffed. Don't want to limit their commercial scope...

Good point from JD regarding Anzu losing neutrality with the tie in with WPP.

JD saying that not RNSing does not mean that things are not happening, many joint parties who have agreements with BIDS already do not want to announce yet. Commercial issues and marketing timing etc.

team working very well and smoothly

it is still Q3, there is plenty of time left of q3, all on track,

JD's quick peruse of bulletin boards, seeing people doing calcs based on peterhouse number, says thats fine, but JD says they have not reset any info to the market, they are on track and still want to be the biggest, no change in outline of journey, Q3 putting things together, Q4 execution, all comfortable but cannot say too much.

Pubguard had many other companies interested including VC investment, so talking to their clients it was positive feedback for going with bidstack.

JW asking about news 'soon'

JD - we are running test campaigns with various DSPs . this is all new, no manual, so all new processes. mentions Anzu, adverty, admix, having to do the same.

don't want to stockpile real estate too quickly but only when they can get best terms,

demand side in new format , taking money from broadcast, digital, agencies don't yet have in game teams. many have 1 gamer person in staff of 130,000 staff so limited

needs trust between all in tech, seemless and non disruptive to users.

also monitoring solution which is automated. created, tested, lots of work

showed evidence of where Bids is going and they were 'remarkably well received' and hence the buy out with shares only.

they can also now profile gamers and target specific individuals based on certain elements of their behaviour. commercially.

JD being deliberately cautious and keeping heads down, busy, without talking too much to market. Feel they are 'doing everything in a structured way to be the defacto go to company in this sector.'
