18/8/2021 14:58 | General market view - I track a number of on line driven companies in various areas. They have all hit a wall re growth in recent months with significant slow downs. Wayfair - on line furniture + other stuff 55% growth last year, zero in Q1. An equivalent company in Germany Westwing 62% growth last year which will carry over into H1 this year but H2 will be flat. They said they've pushed marketing but got no effect. Same story - on line clothing co I expect a significant drop in new customers. There are others. BOTB say that advertisers are charging 60% more. It's to their credit that they haven't pushed that budget as they monitor the cost of customer acquisition vs long term player revenue so didn't fall into the Westwing trap. At present people are enjoying the new freedoms so all on line companies are hit. I assume when the excitement is over things should return to normal (?). That was 15% growth/annum. Maybe/maybe not. Broker note says 5% growth the following year. 5 or 15% it's just a guess until things settle. | serratia
18/8/2021 14:36 | As it stands it looks to have found the bottom near the 700p news if any before next results will shift it one way or the other but people who bought way above the 1500 & 3000 even price will certainly be adding at this price ... possibly even the directors ... they could buy their 2.5 million shares back for 20 million ... banking 40 million profit ... that would certainly lift the price ?? | g2theary
18/8/2021 12:48 | ok so i have been looking at this. EPS forecast around 50p a share. Does anyone apart from me think this is " finger in the air" forecasting. only 14 weeks into the year and this can only be based on whats happened so far. Summer is always quiet. So at 700p a forward p/e of 14 is the risk reward enough to have a go? Things could get worse but likewise better. Whilst selling the shares the management team have still plenty of skin in the game. The downside is that there are many holders now hurting who may well depress the price on any increase. I think its starting to look interesting but 400/500 would of been a better entry giving cover for a further fall in revenue. Hopefully action has been taken to trim costs. Its firmly on my radar now but i have not yet dipped a toe tiger | castleford tiger

17/8/2021 11:45 | Wow, from £32.20 to £7.40 - a 75% fall - in just 14 weeks and over a 50% drop since last week ! I looked at this circa 20 months ago when the price was circa £15 but it seemed far too volatile for my liking so fortunately I left it alone. My sympathies to existing holders - we've all been hit by unexpected shareprice crashes at sometime in our investment history and it can be a painful experience. | masurenguy

17/8/2021 08:16 | National lottery getting in on the act . Saw a scratch card with a top prize of luxury car and cash .the problem is once the car goes they have to declare it and the car hunters will not buy the remaining tickets . | haroldthegreat
17/8/2021 08:02 | Actually, scrub the first para. IG are pricing 694 - 800.5 on the spread but the touch is 753 - 794 so some games going on. | monte1
17/8/2021 08:00 | Normal service has resumed - bid now below £7. Far too early to call the bottom here. Still looks expensive on a forward earnings basis. Would need to see evidence of a turnaround in subs before this valuation can be justified. | monte1
