11/7/2024 16:01 | I see Naked trader is back in at these levelsToo | 2bluelynn
11/7/2024 13:01 | Good to see the support, and although slightly in the red, very confident in BEG as an investor and not trader. It is almost immposible to hit the lows without luck but here seems as good as any entery point. | clocktower
10/7/2024 17:40 | If you look at the three year chart it looks to me like it's bottoming out . I would say a good entry point so I've bought a chunk and the hammer candle yesterday to me looked good with the small white candle today . I'm in | 2bluelynn
10/7/2024 15:24 | You're going to miss out on an optimal entry point by sitting on ones laurals I believe. | wiltowin
09/7/2024 16:08 | For buy and hold, long-term but looking for an optimal entry point, BEG is still in a downtrend. Forget intra-day charts, look out for breakouts on daily or preferably confirmed by weekly. | adipsia1
09/7/2024 16:05 | I realise that there is a mixture of fundamentalist buy and holders and shorter-term traders around here, and I admit that I am a combination of both. I only invest in shares where the fundamentals appear good and the economy is on-side; then I use appropriate charts to time entries. On a stock like this, as a buy and hold, I would only consider buying on confirmation of an upside breakout from a sideways trading range on a daily or even weekly chart. I have read so many times on this thread that BEG are on the turn based upon intra-day data. It is madness buying on intra-day data if you are looking at buy and hold. For confirmation, irrespective of fundamentals in company or market, tBEG are still trending down, not even sideways in a trading range. | adipsia1
09/7/2024 11:44 | My calcs forecast 10.7p EPS is conservative for FY25. That assumes only an organic growth rate of 5%, and no more acquisitions (which is unlikely), and no pickup in Insolvency volumes.Similar to what brokers have for FY25.I'm of the view these shares on average over time should be trading at 12x. So fully expect 130p to be hit sometime in the next 6-12 months. | boonkoh
09/7/2024 11:09 | Very disappointed to see the market react as it has with BEG. Still it will bounce up agaun I expect. | clocktower
09/7/2024 07:29 | It's because of PIs that just look at the headline numbers, and are running because of what they see as low growth, moving into debt, and margin % decrease. And huge "adjustments", which normally is a red flag in other companies, but at Begbies had to be expected due to the way they do acquisitions. However | boonkoh
09/7/2024 07:22 | The price is now hitting a lower-bound long term trend line on the weekly chart, going back to 2016. That's surely got to be the lower limit, given that stocks always over-shoot to the downside and upside... | jdh1602
09/7/2024 07:17 | Not the reaction I was expecting.. | dodger777
09/7/2024 06:39 | A peculiarity that tax rate increase can't be included in adjustments! As that's a factor outside management control and useful to show a truer YoY picture.Adjusted EPS would have actually increased by +0.5p instead of the headline -0.2p.Otherwise solid top line growth, and good operating free cash flow too, which helps to understand how strong the business will be after all the contingent considerations are paid.(I hold in the Boon Fund) | boonkoh
09/7/2024 06:26 | Strong outlook, which could well be understated I believe. Nothing not to like. | clocktower
09/7/2024 06:05 | And breath. Strong results, property advisory flying and more importantly a confident outlook statement. Now on 10x historic earnings, i shall be adding if we don't rerate | rimau1
05/7/2024 07:47 | Under Labour there will be a lot more work, strikes, and as taxes will rise, businesses will close and go broke, as they always do under Labour governments. a good outlook impo. DYOR | clocktower
04/7/2024 19:14 | Nothing nasty expected in the final results next week is there. Hopefully it recovers after they are released. | dodger777
04/7/2024 18:30 | Hope so as I bought some more today. Let's see what Tuesday brings. | the bolton wanderer
