Feel sorry for the Prof Pettigrew inspired shareholders here - you have tolerated capital destruction only to have been kidnapped before you got to the light at the end of the tunnel.

Beheard promised a lot over the last few years and had/has good potential, but it looks like it will not be giving any value to shareholders. At 0.5p all long term loyal shareholders will be kicked out with a substantial loss...

Cynically you have to wonder which senior managers have been offered very nice jobs. Will be interesting to read the rationale should we get to the point of announcing a recommended deal.

0.5p would be a disappointing outcome and agree it looks very opportunistic. This is a business focussed on the digital world where activity appears very healthy. I was hoping for 2.5p or more in a couple of years' time.

Offer price seems very opportunistic and far too cheap. Especially for any long term shareholders...disappointed. Double the offer price is still too cheap.

0.5p is the low share price level this was trading at prior to the Corona crisis...No premium in the offer whatsoever...

Can only hope this announcement flushes out other bidders, but feels unlikely...

Well, takeover offer it is. Sounds pretty advanced from the announcement given they have named a price of 0.5p. I didn't see that coming at all - pretty sure this will trigger the contingent consideration and maybe the loan notes so acquirer must be willing to put significant cash in.

MSQ are industry players not speculative PE so think there's a high chance this goes ahead. Not too concerned if it doesn't though. At 0.5p there would still be upside for the long term holder IMO even if the takeover fell through. That said I douubt I will vote against any offer if it comes, a bird in the hand and all that.
