31/7/2014 08:11 | Wow that's a great RNS. I didn't see it yesterday. | amt
30/7/2014 22:17 | An interesting article worth reading..... Moshe Shimon, our VP of Product Line Management, interviews with Black Swan Telecom Journal to discuss SDN and NFV as it relates to Telco Systems' new OME solutions! Read it here: | reeltime
30/7/2014 13:55 | Its a very challenging environment for business. Contracts are slow to be signed and often scaled back and inaction is the by word today. As Trojan says we will need solid interims to raise the share price The backdrop looks good but business is sluggish. Regrettably I am not expecting to see a great set of results, Conditions are just too demanding. | fse
30/7/2014 12:58 | Fingers and Pies spring to mind here, which is a lot better than ONE NOKIA. | picsous

30/7/2014 07:35 | Indeed, but we need some solid interims to back all these small contract wins up so that we can move away from a sub 20p SP!! Morning all ;) | trojan
30/7/2014 07:25 | Nice contract win this morning. | paulisi
25/7/2014 16:17 | Agreed its trading lower on no volume and poor sentiment. I would expect we will see a cease fire in the area fairly soon. It should not materially hurt their business but it hardly helps ergo no one is buying or selling. | fse
25/7/2014 13:32 | Yes, I think its all sentiment driven. Very low volumes so I feel the share price is just drifting down due to the ongoing situation in Gazza which will have a negative impact on Isreali companies. As +eysenck said, majority of their business is outside Israel so I wouldn't think bottom line will be affected. | phda
25/7/2014 13:03 | There was some chunky buying (2 x 70,000 shares) yesterday but generally low volume over the last few weeks. This has HQ in Israel (and other in US) where it does a lot of business. I suspect that it's the violence in the area that is putting pressure on the share price. Having the capital's airport closed for a few days does not bode well for a business operating there. | +eysenck
25/7/2014 12:17 | anyone any ideas as to what is behind this tailing off in sp? | lfc4ever
27/6/2014 16:11 | Let us hope Batm have some content. - Slow but interesting. Regards. DYOR | james dean
20/6/2014 18:01 | My guess for the next update FWIW We can probably expect further gains in the medical section. I don't think they will surprise too much on the upside, but there are a host of reasons to believe they will gain revenue and provide decent forward statements. The Telco section is undoubtably stabilizing and is on the turn. Longer term I feel they will be OK and there is always the possibility of a takeover. Revenue though will probably continue to disappoint until revenue streams already won come online. We will probably see some good forward statements. As a whole I feel the company is making progress and really ought to be able to support an share price more in the mid 20's range. But we have been there too many times before. Ughhh | fse
19/6/2014 15:26 | >picsous..... thats very much the situation regrettably this has been the case. Good peripheral news then a disappointment. The markets are tired of this and want to see the results support the share price On good results though I do feel we will see some decent gains or on a Telco takeover. | fse
19/6/2014 10:21 | Yes you could be right ,this is the only share I own that never goes anywhere | rob1ng
19/6/2014 09:16 | May be all these announcements about the progress of the company are to sweeten us before another disappointing trading update? | picsous
18/6/2014 19:36 | bingham - Thanks. Agreed ($0.34). After reading the item which quoted other figures in UK sterling I assumed the 34 figure as being the same. Smack hands. Regards. DYOR | james dean
18/6/2014 16:42 | Not 34p, $0.34 or just 20p sadly. | bingham
18/6/2014 16:10 | Telco Systems Joins Intel® Network Builders Program Telco Systems joins Intel® Network Builders program as part of the company's transition toward SDN & NFV software and solutions portfolio Telco Systems, a BATM company (LSE: BVC, TASE: BATM) and a leading provider of innovative SDN & NFV solutions as well as CE 2.0 multi-service Carrier Ethernet and MPLS edge access solutions for mobile backhaul, business Ethernet services and cloud networking, has announced that it has joined the Intel® Network Builders program. This news comes following Telco Systems' announcement of a strategic transition of their portfolio towards SDN & NFV and introduction of its innovative Open Metro Edge (OME) solution. As part of the OME, Telco Systems introduced their new CloudMetro product line of demarcation and aggregation products that embed additional CPUs to host different Virtual Networking Functions (VNF) at the edge of the network. The CloudMetro product line uses Intel® architecture which utilizes open hardware standards like AdvancedTCA and more to provide the processing resources. This architecture will help transform edge devices from single-purpose devices to multi-functional devices. Also utilizing Intel architecture, Telco Systems' newly announced TelcoApps an assortment of innovative virtual networking applications enables virtualized network functions to be hosted on not only Telco Systems' platforms, but also on any Intel processor anywhere in the network. The combination of the company's Carrier Ethernet 2.0 certified solutions, along with Intel processors will provide highly innovative and open network edge solutions. In addition, Telco Systems' support of NETCONF protocols and the company's roadmap towards OpenFlow creates an innovative and future-proof solution. "We are very excited to join the Intel® Network Builders program," commented Nir Halachmi, Director of Strategic Product Management and Innovation. "These ecosystems are essential to the service provider market to unlock the openness and innovation in their networks. It will surely help create joint solutions and cooperation between the members and the service providers." The Intel® Network Builders program's aim is to make it easier to build, enhance, and operate SDN/NFV-based infrastructures, while lowering capital and operating expenditures. "Embedding the Intel architecture at the edge of the network, with solutions like those from Telco Systems, is another step in accelerating the adoption of SDN and NFV concepts," said Renu Navale, Manager of the Intel Network Builders program. About Telco Systems Telco Systems provides an industry-leading portfolio of diverse Carrier Ethernet over Ethernet & MPLS-based demarcation, aggregation and edge of the core solutions, enabling service providers to create intelligent, end-to-end, service-assured, CE 2.0-compliant networks for mobile backhaul, business services and cloud networking. 17/6/2014 14:59 | The news is positive but the share price will not move IMO until we have the bottom line revenue on the books to support a move higher. Still it's hopeful. | fse
16/6/2014 10:45 | reeltime, If the track record for BVC is anything to go by and indeed past performance, then the omission in the RNS of the value of these contracts would almost certainly infer that it's likely to be of little nominal revenue. If the value was worth mentioning then they would have done so. That said, a contract win is just that and so this is a positive RNS, but we've been here before with very little if anything to show for. 0.25p higher on the news is the best we seem to be able to muster, assuming we can hold onto any gain that is. AIMHO. DYOR. | david_99
16/6/2014 08:23 | Looks like two potentially decent contracts, somewhat disappointing though that once again there is no mention of how much they are worth to the company!!! | reeltime |
