31/7/2023 15:24 | When a fella with Goodman's wealth is fighting to save your company, that is either really good or really bad...lol If a judicial review is successful it could be game on again. | theshenagainagain

31/7/2023 13:35 | Cash-strapped oil and gas explorer Barryroe Energy Services has a green energy future under Larry Goodman vehicle Vevan Unlimited, the High Court has been told. The ailing exploration company, which owns 80 per cent of the Barryroe field, off the coast of Kinsale, Co Cork, hit the skids last May when Minister for the Environment Eamon Ryan refused to grant a license to the oil and gas prospect. Vevan is its largest shareholder. Mr Justice Michael Quinn today agreed to Vevan’s petition to appoint Kieran Wallace of Interpath as examiner to stop Barryroe from going into liquidation. The Goodman entity was described… | swizz
31/7/2023 13:25 | Examinership approved and interesting to note that as part of the court submissions, Vevan and their legal team are of the opinion that a judicial review would be successful,..GL S | swizz
31/7/2023 07:18 | I think it was Herm that said there were 13,000 PIs; there is only one of ER. Collectively we have power. I am willing to find information that show so called corrective actions coming out of DECC are wrong; they seem to be based on deprivation/punishme If anyone else is of like mind, we could provide facts that would embarrass/undermine, show that he is wrong=headed and not fit for the office he holds. We could provide facts for a journalist to publicize for example. I am tired of being a victim of powerful people! | murmurs
31/7/2023 06:49 | Going to be a tight one in High Court today. Carey of Sunday Times calls BEY "a dead parrot". Says Goodman is providing a Business Plan not a rescue plan which is the idea behind Examinership. Larry's Barristers will be battling hard to keep BEY alive for a while longer and he is our only hope of getting even cents in the dollar now.... | hermana3
31/7/2023 06:46 | A renewable development that aligns with LG's current interests is to generate clean ammonia using power supplied from a geothermal plant. Ammonia can be used as a fertiliser, or a fuel to replace diesel. The present production. The current method (Haber-Bosch) is polluting and inefficient. Local production gives security of supply, lower pollution, control over costs, and jobs. Another method to lower pollution is to feed a seaweed supplement to cattle. A combination of like technologies could lower the culling of cattle. Ammonia production: Ammonia (NH3) generation requires air, water and electricity. It can be made in container sized plants that are installed on farms or farmer's CoOp premises. hxxps://fuelpositive Ammonia as fuel: hxxps://www.research hxxps://interestinge hxxps://www.ammoniae | murmurs
30/7/2023 07:07 | Some thoughts on Green opportunities. Wind and solar PV are a bit crowded. Two biggies, hydrogen or geothermal, which could be Larry's targets. In addition BEY provides experience in geology, drilling, working offshore, producing, handling, shipping, marketing energy ... also finance. Hydrogen: Clean H2 produced from fossil fuels is considered green by the EU during the transition period. Interesting name on first page. hxxps://www.euronews Geothermal: Is 24x7x365. 29/7/2023 12:06 | Borrowed from keithoz, lse[Today 07:28]: 'One day left. Thursday June 15th 2023 – Question time in the Dáil. Deputy Darren O'Rourke: “My question is to ask the Minister for the Environment, Climate and Communications if he will provide an update on the Government’s energy security review and, separately the review by Mr. Dermot McCarthy; when he expects both to be published; and if he will make a statement on the matter.” Deputy Eamon Ryan: “My Department is currently finalising its review of security of energy supply of Ireland’s electricity and natural gas systems....The McCarthy review into security of supply of the electricity system has been a further key input informing the analysis and will be published alongside the completion of the review. The completion of that review is a key priority. Once the review is completed, which I expect to be next month, when it will also be published, I will bring my recommendations to Government. Subject to Government approval, as I said, it will be published at that time”. If 'next month' is stated in June, that means July, of which there is one working day left. So, are you going to demonstrate that you are a man of your word, Minister Ryan, and deliver the report on Monday? Or are you going to continue to delay publishing a report that will almost certainly demonstrate to the world that you are not fit to hold your current position? How will you explain your decision to cut down rainforest in Brazil, have it turned into woodchips, transported 6000km, and burnt in Ireland as “renewable biomass”? How will you explain your decision to buy possibly fracked gas, have it liquified, transported by sea, then regassified in Ireland. Or to buy possibly fracked gas through the UK interconnector? All the while refusing to utilise indigenous-sourced gas that is naturally lower in carbon intensity, and does not require additional energy expenditure in transporting and processing? These 'solutions' rely on being presented as carbon reduction by Ireland, but are in fact a nett increase by other countries. I was not aware that exporting climate change is a green policy – it sounds a lot more like knowing and malevolent hypocrisy. If you are a man of your word, I look forward to the review publication on Monday. If you are a man of honour, I look forward to your concurrent resignation.' | westmoreland lad
29/7/2023 08:27 | Larry will have his legal team in place for Monday morning ensuring he gets 6 months to snag Barryroe on the cheap. He is the only game in town and our lazy inconsiderate board have served us terribly and will be torn to shreds by The incoming Goodman team. | hermana3

28/7/2023 17:46 | I wouldn't say I'm pessimistic, just experienced and world-weary, having watched everything touched by Barryroe management turn to sh1t over ten years. Davy already greenlighted a 90% dilution in favour of Goodman, which valued the shares at about 0.6c. Davy considered that to be "fair and reasonable insofar as shareholders are concerned" (23-Nov RNS). And that was when BEY still had a viable asset. | ps200306
28/7/2023 17:12 | Moneybags in Phoenix magazine says Ryan is an egomaniacal lunatic and the other so called leaders in this mindbogglingly inept government should be charged with economic treason. Couldnt have put it better myself.... | hermana3
28/7/2023 16:55 | Pageant will not roll over when the Goodman juggernaut makes what is likely to be an initial paltry offer. The quote will be of interest to him as a Green Offering on the market will be welcomed for sure. | hermana3
28/7/2023 16:42 | Ever the pessimist ps200306. I fear he will need much deeper pockets than that if wants some of the very stubborn shareholders to meet him halfway. | theshenagainagain
28/7/2023 12:44 | A million dollars sounds about right, i.e. less than $0.001 per share. No reason for Goodman to pay big money for a company with zero assets which “will require a recapitalisation of the equity structure of the company, with the introduction of new equity fund and/or a change of ownership”. The tax write-off opportunity is of use only to him, so unless existing shareholders want to cut off their nose to spite their face they'll take whatever's on offer. | ps200306 |
