Yes all worthless now unfortunately after the license was refused. Read back through the RNSs and u can see when it went into administration and was taken over by Larry Goodman for little or nothing and renamed Barry-roe. Shareholders were to get a share of any profits made in the new company within 10 years but never heard another thing about it so best just write it off and go and enjoy life.

You can write them off for CGT by making a negligible value claim assuming they're not in your pension or ISA. See HMRC manuals. https://www.gov.uk/hmrc-internal-manuals/capital-gains-manual/cg13125

Could I ask in General, how do shareholders write off their investments in Companies that are no longer listed long-term but still your broker won't delete them?I would like to use the losses for CGT purposes. II offer to donate them to charity but I doubt you can write them off then? Thanks in anticipation.

Utterly insane environment to try and do business. Greens are a law onto themselves and all other parties are too weak to challenge their questionable dogma for fear of losing young voters and the middle aged bores...

Nothing would happen , the Beef man has already stolen the company and is looking to come out smelling of roses with all those lovely assets , and to think the system allows it to happen.

Well for starters it's only at the exploration stage, that means licence revenue for the Irish Government. 2 years worth, then they can find an excuse to pull the plug at the 11th hour citing a lack of funds to develop any potential discovery

Europa Oil & Gas (Holdings) PLC FEL 4/19 Licence Extension Approval, err an Irish licence.

it has received notification from the Irish Government's Department of the Environment, Climate and Communications (DECC) that the Minister has given his consent to extend the Phase 1 of FEL 4/19 to 31 January 2026. The Company intends to use the extension to carry out further technical studies and allow more time to secure a partner to advance development of the licence.

How did that happen? Is the gas greener on that side of the island?
