Perhaps the Majors intervened - or Joeb didn't get paid:

The Company will therefore later today be posting a circular to shareholders (Circular) in connection with the proposed CVL and Cancellation.

The Circular will set out the background to and reasons for the CVL and the Cancellation and additional information on the implications of the CVL and Cancellation for the Company and its Shareholders.

They referenced an update later today - did Joeb not get paid at lunchtime - no further info.

Let the company fail , buy the assets whatever they may be and then try to sell those assets , that is probably their master plan , shareholders well and truly shafted .

Steel,Cant believe he will be allowed to block LU. Bloody disgraceful behaviour it is and Landsdowne are to be commended for taking him on. Are we sitting back and letting this unlawful outrage to happen??

Maybe a minor point in the greater scheme of things, but I only recall the 48/24-10z well being suspended post testing. If I'm right and, in the event of a final victory for Ryan if all else fails, then the gobaloon will need to stump up tax payers hard earned to permanently plug and abandon the well in a safe manner, as required by the regulations.

Landsdowne have it nailed - BEY needs to go directly through the Irish courts for compensation

That is how you effectively communicate with your shareholders.

They're all out of a job so I doubt they'll be too concerned about us.

It beggars belief at how little has been communicated to PIs by the board. Have they actually done anything since the LU was refused other than start shutting everything down?

Cannot help but think we are being screwed all over again by the Board of BEY. They let this company go belly up and cancel shares etc. Then in a few months a completely new company sets up again tied in or including LOGP and off they all go to court and take on Ryan with no worries about market regulations or shareholders to worry about. Saves LG or whoever needing another death spiral finance deal.

Or provide a facility of 140 m knowing it'll never be drawn? Blegh.

Could they just budget for works that are 30% ish of £40 m ? So they can show they have the 3.5 multiple ?

It's pretty obvious why the funding is hard to achieve with people like Ryan and the current prime minister running Ireland into the ground and putting up red tape and road blocks everywhere

Could the majority holders be facilitating a move across to Lansdowne? and LOGP to be the vehicle to go forward as a UK domiciled company?

Very much a housekeeping RNS with very little useful information. I wonder if the significant shareholders are refusing to deal with and looking to remove the current board.
