Russian forces have liberated the town of Rozovka in the Lugansk People’s Republic and captured Pestchanoye Nizhneye in Ukraine’s Kharkov Region, the defense ministry in Moscow reported on Sunday.

Over the past 24 hours, the Ukrainian military has suffered more than 1,500 casualties in various hotspots along the frontline, losing multiple artillery guns, including US-made М777 howitzers, Russian military officials asserted.


The Russian Ministry of Defense said its troops have improved their positions in a number of areas in the Donetsk People’s Republic.

According to the statement, several Ukrainian self-propelled artillery guns, both Western- and Soviet-made, have been hit. The Ukrainian losses include a US-made radar and a Soviet-made radio warfare system, the Russian military reports.

Russian strikes are also said to have taken out a US-made HIMARS multiple launch rocket system as well as several industrial plants used by the Ukrainian military.

Russian air defenses have brought down one Ukrainian Mi-8 helicopter as well over the past 24 hours, the defense ministry in Moscow claims.

GENICHESK, July 21. /TASS/. Russian air defense systems shot down two ATACMS missiles launched by the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the direction of Crimea, the governor of the Kherson region Vladimir Saldo said in his Telegram channel.

"In the morning the Russian air defense shot down two high-precision ATACMS missiles in the sky over the Kherson region. The enemy tried to attack the Crimea. The shell fragments fell far from populated areas," he said.

There were no casualties or injuries, and no damage to infrastructure.

MOSCOW, July 21. /TASS/. MiG-29 and MiG-31 fighters prevented two US Air Force B-52N strategic bombers from violating the Russian state border, the Russian Defense Ministry reported.

"On July 21, Russian means of airspace control over the Barents Sea detected a group of air targets approaching the Russian state border. In order to identify the air target and prevent the violation of the Russian state border, MiG-29 and MiG-31 fighters were raised in the air. The crews of the Russian fighters identified the air target as two B-52N strategic bombers of the US Air Force," the ministry said.

The Defense Ministry added that "when the Russian fighters approached, the US strategic bombers turned away from the Russian state border." "Russian aircraft returned safely to their home airfields, the violation of the Russian state border was prevented," the Defense Ministry added.

The Ministry emphasized that the flight of the Russian aircraft was carried out in strict compliance with international rules on the use of the airspace over neutral waters in compliance with safety measures.

Three ideas for unlocking the UK’s economic potential

The economic potential of the UK is strong, and it is vital that the country harness private finance to support investment and growth. I have three suggestions which may help:

1) Financial services must be viewed as a strategic asset, held in the national interest.

2) A culture of equity ownership needs to be recovered. This can be done through pensions reform, streamlining listing requirements and changes to tax on share purchases and dividend income.

3) The benefits of a revived equity culture must extend to individual savers, supporting them to become investors with credible sources of advice.

MOSCOW, July 20. /TASS/. Russian forces destroyed two launchers of the US-made Patriot missile system and its radar in the past day, the Russian Defense Ministry said in a statement.

"Russian tactical aircraft, drone teams, missile forces and artillery units destroyed two launchers and an AN/MPQ-65 radar of the US-made Patriot missile system. In addition, enemy troops and equipment were hit in 113 areas," the statement reads.

"Units of Battlegroup North hit the troops and equipment of the 42nd Mechanized Brigade of the Ukrainian armed forces, the 127th Territorial Defense Brigade and the 13th National Guard Brigade near Volchansk, Staritsa, Malye Prokhody and Liptsy in the Kharkov Region. Attacks by assault teams of the 92nd Assault Brigade of the Ukrainian armed forces and the 26th Marine Brigade were repelled. The enemy lost up to 185 troops, two pickup trucks, a D-30 122 mm howitzer and a Plastun radio-electronic reconnaissance station," the statement reads.

"Units of Battlegroup Center improved their tactical positions, inflicting a defeat on the forces of the 32nd, 41st and 47th mechanized brigades of the Ukrainian armed forces near Toretsk, Novgorodskoye, Rozovka, Progress and Novosyolvka Pervaya in the Donetsk People’s Republic. They also repelled eight counterattacks by assault teams of the 31st and 151st mechanized brigades and the 95th Airborne Assault Brigade of the Ukrainian armed forces and the Ukrainian Interior Ministry’s Liut Assault Brigade," the statement reads.

The ministry added that the ministry had lost up to 280 troops, four armored combat vehicles, five motor vehicles, a Gvozdika 122 mm self-propelled howitzer, two D-30 122 mm howitzers and two Rapira 100 mm anti-tank guns.

"Units of Battlegroup East moved to more advantageous pistons, hitting the trips and equipment of the 72nd Mechanized Brigade of the Ukrainian armed forces, the 120th and 129th territorial defense brigade and the 21st National Guard Brigade near Vremevka, Makarovka, Storozhevoye, Vodyanoye, Razliv and Oktyabr in the Donetsk People’s Republic," the statement reads.

The ministry specified that the enemy had lost up to 110 troops, four motor vehicles, a British-made FH-70 155 mm towed howitzer, a Gvozdika 122 mm self-propelled howitzer, a D-30 122 mm howitzer and two Nota electronic warfare systems.

According to the ministry, the enemy lost up to 540 troops, a tank, an armored combat vehicle, six motor vehicles, a British-made Braveheart 155 mm self-propelled howitzer, two Gvozdika 122 mm self-propelled howitzers, a Bukovel-AD electronic warfare system and a field ammunition depot.

According to the Russian Defense Ministry, a total of 630 planes, 277 helicopters, 27,915 unmanned aerial vehicles, 554 missile systems, 16,620 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, 1,379 multiple rocket launchers, and 12,120 field artillery mounts and mortars, as well as 23,870 special military motor vehicles, have been destroyed since the start of Russia’s special military operation.

Two counterattacks by the forces of the 5th Assault Brigade of the Ukrainian armed forces were repelled. The enemy lost up to 640 troops, an armored combat vehicle and 18 motor vehicles," the statement reads.

According to the ministry, a British-made Braveheart 155 mm self-propelled howitzer, a US-made M198 howitzer, a US-made M777 howitzer, an Akatsiya 152 mm self-propelled howitzer, a Msta-B 152 mm howitzer, two D-20 152 mm howitzers, a Gvozdika 122 mm self-propelled howitzer and two British-made L119 105 mm howitzers were hit by counterbattery fire. Besides, an Anklav electronic warfare system and two Ukrainian field ammunition depots were destroyed.

You can work it out by seeing what the reduction in the share count is in the pay year. Cash set aside for dividends will remain constant but will go up in payout terms as the number of shares is down. Personally if the results are as good as expected considering the horror show of the last 15 years I would love them to do a Banco Santander and say 100% of profits are being returned to shareholders via buybacks ect and get this to 400 to 500p a share.
