Does anybody know if the Judge can sort of split the difference with the (Is it $5 Billion ) or does he have to go with Barclays or the liquidator's of Lehmans for the full amount?

If I have it right the FTSE close (ADVFN's close) on Friday is the same as the Pivot point for Monday, which is similar to what happened with Fridays PP.(being close to Thursdays close)

FFS - this share will gap up or dive depending on how much BARC has to give back on the Lehman's outcome.

Yanks would quite happily have sold BARC the biggest lemon since sub-prime was coined - and are now b*tching over the fact that BARC took the risk and booked a gain.

All IMO - but I guess I am now seeing the point of view of the middle east!

BobP - Can only see this dropping further until a wee sparkle of good news filters through, which does not seem to be on the horizon. In the meantime the MM's are making money while we Long Termers await patiently for a reverse in fortunes.

Come off it Wenlynn, I'm sure you know that Rainfall is one of my best friends. He's interested in horse racing so that makes him a first class guy.

On the subject of which we are running Kinkeel at Towcester on Sunday, in a hurdle race. He hasn't run for 196 days and normally runs in chases over the bigger obstacles. The Sporting Life is suggesting he will start favourite. Well we might be lucky!!!

Carl
Beacuse RBS and Lloyds probably won't need more capital, Barc might need more.

Sorry guys, but I'm going to have to stop posting answers on both threads because I can't keep up. I'll pick up questions from here and answer them if I can, but the answer will be on the other board.

Sorry Ken - or anyone - been missing for a while - Which other board?

Quite - and the Yanks had a good old moan about the fact that BARC didn't take over the whole of Lehmans - on the other hand a bit of oil (well quite a bit) and there is mayhem.
