I think you would get a better answer on the FTSE thread doddy, I think it will have somthing to do with the type of order you open (stop/limit) Im sure with ig you only get triggered if the price hits the price you specify, but could be wrong

Thanks Gcom had a look at that guide but still doesnt answer my question. Take for example the big barclays jump last monday, they opened up 40 odd points, if I put a spread in on Sunday evening would it have triggered monday morning and at what price? thanks in advance

I'm hoping that IHT will be increased from £325,000 in the next budget.
I know £1 million has been ruled out but £325,000 is laughable.
