10/5/2010 22:18 | unglove, i agree 1. Greek bail out package only acts as a bucket under the dripping tap, it doesn't fix it. 2. The dripping tap has no co ordinated european plan to make swinging cuts in spain and portugal. This debt problem is going to remain and come back to haunt us once the PIGS have spent the bail out money 3. In the UK,the market thought we'd see Camo in charge by tonight...its not happened and with todays rise, we're only going to go in one direction.down. | bobp
10/5/2010 22:08 | European bailout far more important than libdems fannying around imho. It is not as if we are having to negotiate with the monster raving loony party as yet. | unglove
10/5/2010 21:52 | sorry but its a down day tomorrow, fannying around and the market is sick of it. may see a retrace to v low 300s. if it does i'll be back in again | bobp
10/5/2010 20:57 | Shorts next pasting tomorrow imho | gcom2
10/5/2010 20:55 | today was the 3rd lgst opening advance in history S+P! other 2 09/19/2008 & 10/13/2008. Both led to prolonged selloffs after 1 & 2days | cat100
10/5/2010 20:49 | Jamrol, I really hope you are right, but I keep thinking markets hate uncertainty. And if torys change the voting to a form of PR will they ever get back in. 9:45pm they are still talking but Torys sound desperate lets hope they can (LIB/CON)get an agreement before markets open tomorrow | bob f2
10/5/2010 20:44 | jamrol I agree with you, should be positive tomorrow and I believe Cameron will do a deal with Clegg, which should bode well with the markets. There has been too much tumoil lately led by the Pig countries. I just hope we keep out of the euro zone. | roadwalker
10/5/2010 20:08 | Bob F2 have you not noticed Asia flying(and VIX & bonds dropping), think you might be very disappointed as banks still have 10% to recover and once LibDems side with Tories we could see another 5% on top. come on clegg it makes good sense to side with Tories, as a Blue voter I will be happy with that outcome. | jamrol
10/5/2010 19:46 | I'm not so sure it will be too bad tomorrow. The most significant influence on today was the Euro. The UK situation is a bit of a side show really. Salty. | saltaire111
10/5/2010 19:09 | Looking back it would of been a good short especially in closing auction but it would also be good to win the lottery aswell. Any guessed on the opening price tomorrow... | johncraven
10/5/2010 19:06 | Lab and Torys are offering every thing to Clegg, next Torys will offer him the Prime Ministers position. Mayhem on the markets tomorrow, IG already showing opening FTSE down nearly 40 points | bob f2
10/5/2010 18:52 | Mr Brown please take the hint and f##k off now Clegg the voters made a choice days ago, grow some balls and make yours. aspers - still 15% to recover, only an idiot would have spreadbet against today. | jamrol
10/5/2010 18:47 | Back to 310 or lower tomorrow....up 15% in a day is too much, who was crazy enough not to take profits??? | aspers
10/5/2010 18:18 | OT Apologies to the threat Mike Oh yes I´m still here (very happy), as for E no sir, long gone (grind of teeth). Sorry to hear luvmedo wasn´t quite what you expected (sounds like another E aswell ;o) ) I hope everything otherwise is more buoyant for you. As for me still trying to earn a penny and I´m a lot happier of late with the Euro GBP cross. Your post still haunts me wrt parity. Then I never thought that would have come to pass. But there are a lot things we thought could never come to pass.Just goes to show, anything is possible. Any I wish you well, and may the road rise up to meet you. VC | via con
10/5/2010 18:10 | lib con is not a working team, theyre too left, when whats needed so so so much is right wing injection and influence. A strong Con could have pulled it off, but this lot theres no hope for Brfoken Britain . the mkt will not like it tmrw and we'll see a moderate drop I guess. shorts out boys . | power
10/5/2010 17:27 | I believe Gordon is a RKH holder and posting there. If so what a nice profit today too, my golfing partner also has a fair holding buying in at 40p. | roadwalker
10/5/2010 16:47 | Gordo says he is staying until he is dragged screaming and kicking (and threatening!) what a farce. Markets will not be pleased. Amazing bust up on sky news Adam Boulton versus Campbell. Astonishing. | manuel labour
10/5/2010 16:41 | There should be another election ASAP. | devil20
10/5/2010 16:33 | Gordon's going but to try get a lib/lab pack, the markets won't like it tomorrow. Expect a big retrace (Unfortunately) | bob f2
10/5/2010 16:33 | where does all this leaave us tomorrow am ?? | dancing donkey
10/5/2010 16:32 | The damned Libs 'Anoraks' typically upsetting the situation. THeyve never been anything but a vote wasting party, this is their finest hour, their one and only chance to make themselves known and theyre blowing it by indecision. LibLab clap trap. get em out of the way, and lets get on with life. The only good news is idiot Brown is leaving the scene. | power
10/5/2010 16:21 | this isn't RKH | get rich quick
10/5/2010 16:18 | Hopefully another 45p+ on BARC tomorrow!!! | the juggler
10/5/2010 16:17 | Gordon's gone. What now? | philipmidgley
10/5/2010 15:57 | BYE BYE GORDON | wenlynn |
