China's Poodle Boris Johnson Update?

Trade with China has to be brought under control and this was one way of doing it, we have to stop the huge trade surpluses China has with us ad at least bring it down to neutral, if China continues to run massive trade surpluses with the world then the world will have the most powerful communist regime ever, it will be so powerful that no current world power today would dare to go up against it, which means China will do exactly as it pleases with contempt for everyone else, China is already frightening the countries to the west of it and the south of it ad that is the start of things to come.

UK’s opportunist and adventurist diplomacy with China a dead end pursuit

Sounds sensible to me and hard to think the share price is going to do anything but go north in the coming months. £2 plus by May possibly? Let's see. GLA.

Manics - will you be holding old beam for the div now or selling at your £1.63 target if reached before the ex div date (26/2) out of interest? Tricky dilemma...

Warning : rose tinted glasses view coming .....

Ok, so there is some buying in prior to Friday where we all receive 1% back on our investment. This should, combined with the future buy back enable the share price to stabilise and build strength. I am a believer (love the Beatles!) and feel this really could be the time barclays shines.

All the ingredients for a good cake are in the mix and now we just have to turn up the oven (ie: economy) for barc to grow.

I have been wondering whether Jes has something in the pipeline regarding a merger state side but thats just a wild hunch.

Manics : Thats a nice step into the 160's ... being that the ftse is still red I feel imo I can see Barc having a strong day approaching when the ftse steps up to 6700+ .

This is interesting now and could we be looking at a soon to be Barclays share price movement that puts a smile back on everyones face !!?

Whats the ex-divi date ?
