22/2/2021 13:34 | Manics : I agree, short term isn't the 250p figure but if the economy gains traction we 'may' see gains like this towards Sept/Oct time ?? Barc seems to want to break 160p but keeps pulling back .... at some point it should break north, patience is the key along with the Vaccine/R number positive feel. Its fundamentally a well diversified bank with global presence and a model that can withstand significant negativity. I wasn't going to but decided to buy a few more at 151.5p and hope this week see's good sentiment GLA | prbshares

22/2/2021 12:10 | PRBSHARES: yep the numbers are out so it's down to sentiment now. Who cares what drives it -favourable technicals, micro, macro, doesn't matter. Personally in the short term I don't see sentiment or currently unknown fundamentals driving BARC to levels not seen for some years (250p). I have always said 160p is the dignity level for BARC, 180p would be a massive win in the short term. | manics

22/2/2021 10:37 | Manics : maybe I am seeing this from a very large pair of rose tinted glasses but imo the news is now out on Barc... the figures really weren't bad at all compared to the storm raging over the global economy and it feels very much like we are heading on the up and towards the light at the end of the tunnel. 'R' number is down and with the vaccine it seems that we now have a mechanism to control the virus. I think the banks are due a run and it could well be a significant one imo. Be great if we saw Barc back into the mid £2's riding on a UK growth boom following the release of all the pent up and restricted measures . GLA and lets see what Boris has to say. | prbshares
