Ken- im fully aware and sympathise with the landlord who buys somewhere to supplement a meagre pension. totally get it and I know my post sounded harsh. What I don't get is the Airbnb HMO crowd who will squeeze blood out of a stone for their own greed. Unfortunately the innocent suffer too and im not referring to the Chinese with their deposits coming from shanghai together with their diseases. We should have locked this circus down a decade ago.

Frankly if I know which bot to press to short certainly will do it even now , lots of default, virus not over for more months than expected, US would be the lending indicator , whatever stimulus gives a chance to sell at every bounce.

it is to do with the auction that happens on SETS, i think i got this right, but please correct me if i havent, i think at close they can auction off existing orders on the 'book' so that would explain the large UT's we see, one thing i have not discovered , is who completes the transaction

Nemesis - Thank you for that.

Fortunately I've only had 1 tenant so far, asking to only pay 50% of their rent. If everyone wants to do the same, they'll be getting 80% of their salary and I'll only be getting 50%. I have to live as well.
