Now how about that trade deal? Donald Trump praises Boris Johnson after leadership win DONALD TRUMP has congratulated Boris Johnson on his Tory leadership election victory, saying he will make a “great” Prime Minister. https://www.express.co.uk/news/politics/1156780/boris-johnson-tory-leadership-prime-minister-donald-trump-brexit-us-trade-deal

Great news and glad ministers and front benchers are resigning. Means Johnson will have to promote some of the back benchers who will be enthusiastic and ambitious to help him make this country great again. The Prime Minister has the final say it's his team of ministers that help run the country and do the work. Boris Johnson 'to get Brexit done' as he's made PM - Goldman Sachs raises No Deal to 20% https://www.express.co.uk/news/politics/1156755/boris-johnson-prime-minister-tory-leader-results-jeremy-hunt-PM-brexit-cabinet

............... Congrats to Boris from Buywell ................... Well done Boris although it was never in doubt was it. Now the hard part begins: 1) Stop HS2 and spend the monies more wisely , more elcrification of existing un-electrified main lines costing 20 Billion to STOP dirty diesel trains damaging babies and childrens health thus taking future strain off the bankrupt NHS. 2) Task your new Minister of Health to reduce rocketing Sepsis numbers in the NHS ............... DOUBLED IN THE LAST 3 YEARS .................. The BIGGEST KILLER BOTH IN THE USA AND THE UK and costing the NHS Hundreds of Millions in legal claims because an old 4 hour target is still in use for getting patients on IV instead of a 1 hour target. 3) Make sure the NHS fully embrace technology in the shape of robotics for laparoscopic operations . This along with 2) will reduce hospital length of stay As you know operations are and have been cancelled due to ongoing staff problems and lack of beds. Use of robotics and LiDCO Hemodynamic monitoring to optimize IV use on Sepsis patiients will SAVE 20% of lives currently being lost and reduce Length of stay in hospitals by around 10% plus. Clinical data exists to support these claims The USA are adopting LiDCO and the 1hr IV targets

Porto, enyoyed The Layton Rakes which was pretty near to our hotel, we nearly got to Southport but the tour operator took us to Skipton, don't know why, but it's a nice town and the Spoons there in a good one :-0) Manchester si a bit of an odd place to go for a break, but then having spent almost 50 years travelling there to do business I would say that...enjoy the change :-) Off to the gym now for some light exercise to hopefully to work a bit of the holiday surplus off.

In the mean time oafs like Hammond ignore the help offered by the US, that has a active navy in the area, is not afraid of standing up to bullies, but instead asks the infamous EU that has neither a navy or ships in the area. The incompetence of politicans to further they're own careers over risk if life is shaming to the UK. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-7271855/Britain-mourns-Royal-Navy-took-Falklands-Ex-admirals-join-growing-criticism-cuts.html
