Barc has risen 250% in a month from 57p to around 197p, due for a massive technical pullback, I know there are some mugs paying this inflated price, its about to fall.

smurfy opened at 192.41 and my stop is 201. I'll cope with this. Tho its of little relevance I did rather well this morning from holding a position over night. I am hoping for the same.

monty...they are selling the family silver...so that some of those top bosses can get their bonuses indirectly...a bit like going round the bushes to get what they want...as they have been used to for the last few years...do you honestly believe they can downgrade their lifestyle!...

taken from the Barclays' investor website...

"The Board intends to resume dividend payments in the second of 2009, from which time it is intended that dividends will be paid quarterly"

The AGM will confirm this and share price will go north, simple investment really.

My question will be if there is any new bidder for ishares or BGI annouced at the AGM

montyhedge, given you go long/short every five minutes, I'll take your post with a pinch of salt.

There will be a dividend payment, as you have posted previously ;-)

Lol, no chance of dividend for 18 months, why are they selling what they can, just to give it to shareholders.

I agree with Monty for once. Sold at 202 on Tuesday and can't see anything to stop a bout of profit taking in stocks which should see BARC back down in the 170's
