30/3/2019 17:33 | Porty....I agree with you about the free shares but I am afraid the FCA wouldn't be interested. It's down to the shareholders to approve the remuneration, or not. | m1k3y1
30/3/2019 17:14 | Barclays' share price has been on a continuous slide for about a year. This reduced the normalized P/E ratio to just 7.5 while the dividend yield increased to 4.2%. Barclays currently has a CET1 capital ratio of 13.2% but would be hit hard in the 'adverse scenario' as outlined by the European Banking Authority. As long as Barclays keeps its payout ratio at 30-40% and retains the remainder of its net income to strengthen its balance sheet, it should be fine. | bernie37
30/3/2019 09:21 | Beaconsfield quite rightly had a vote of no confidence in their MP last night Has the bloke got the integrity to resign? I doubt it - democracy only works when it delivers the votes they want | joe say
29/3/2019 17:26 | Parliament has in the last 2 years clearly demonstrated that they consider themselves to be above both the electorate and hence the principals of democracy itself. The trust of a large proportion of the electorate has been lost , in some cases for good. Democracy is the loser ... politicians come and go : It is a great pity that today we have none of them who care a jot for the voter, the common man, or the country in which we live and used to be called Great Britain. If current politicians think they are going to get voted back in the next elections ... like Mrs May , they are deluding themselves. | buywell2
29/3/2019 16:42 | I've put myself up for election this April. All those moaning on about brexit get out there and help clear the trash from our political system before it's too late. Put yourself up for election for an independent party. | terminated
29/3/2019 16:35 | The majority still voted to leave and do not want to be kept in this authoritarian club against their will and having to pay for it too. Get bl oody on with it. This should have been sorted at least two years ago. How do remainers propose to accommodate the millions more EU citizens who will come under freedom of movement rules if we remained. No forward planning from this Government, no house, school or prison for starters. VIDEO | johnwise
29/3/2019 16:22 | The lowest US unemployment recorded in 50 years.. 55,000 new manufacturing jobs came back to the US with the Trump administration.. Its so simple you just impose import tariffs and reduce company taxation, put your own country first instead of Communist China Donald Trump: "I'll take jobs from China, Mexico" VIDEO | johnwise
29/3/2019 15:45 | Short term pain for long term gain doesn't work in politics which is why we fail. We needed a business approach. | clond
