I don't think the supply chain could keep up with 3 orders but I like your optimism.
I think we'll know more about a Saudi order in Q1. That cannot drag on much longer and a high level Saudi delegation has just been over to France. Nervous times !

Berenberg: BAE primed for another positive year

The outbreak of further global conflict means aerospace and defence group BAE Systems (BAES) is ‘primed for another good year’, says Berenberg.

Analyst George McWhirter retained his ‘buy’ recommendation and increased the target price from £11.70 to £12.20 on the Citywire Elite Companies AA-rated stock, which was trading at £10.79.

He said the group is ‘well placed to deliver a 10% earnings-per-share compound annual growth rate over the mid-term’.

‘The building blocks are a combination of mid- to high single-digit organic revenue growth, steady margin expansion and low single-digit accretion from the ongoing share buyback,’ he said.

‘As we look towards 2024, recent progress towards enacting the full-year 2024 US defence budget is positive, reducing the potential for a more protracted budget impasse, which was threatening to cause growing disruption to BAE’s US business – which is c.45% of revenue.’

McWhirter said the next catalyst for the shares will be the closing of the $5.6bn (£4.4bn) Ball Aerospace acquisition, which ‘we model to occur at the beginning of second half 2024, although we think a shorter timeline is possible’.

I doubt it. Need a Typhoon order to get it shifting into the stratosphere.
Maybe in the New Year!

Are we going to see a new ATH before the year ends? 2023 is not ending a safer place than it began, defence spending is going to remain high on the agenda with most of our allies.

Indeed. 1.265 about as high as its been for a while.
And if there's any hint today of UK rates not coming down for a while (or, heaven forbid, going up), it'll keep going that way.

It's reflecting the Strengthening of Cable overnight on expectation of an earlier FED rate cut. Lot of US$ revenue for BA.

The national defence industry leaders on the Global Combat Air Programme (GCAP) – Leonardo (Italy), Mitsubishi Heavy Industries (Japan) and BAE Systems (UK) - have warmly welcomed the signing of the Convention on the Establishment of the “Global Combat Air Programme - GCAP International Government Organisation (the GIGO)” by their respective governments.

Ministers from Italy, Japan and UK signed the treaty, which marks an important agreement in the shared design and delivery of a next generation fighter aircraft by 2035. The agreement, signed just 12 months since the formation of the GCAP programme, reinforces its momentum and the strong trilateral cooperation amongst the partners.......

...... Today’s GCAP announcement also confirmed the joint GCAP government headquarters will be hosted in the UK and the first CEO will come from Japan. In addition, the future business construct will also be headquartered in the UK and the first leader will be from Italy.

I wish that they'd stop inviting the Italians to join these multi-national projects. They are clueless.

"BAE Systems has been awarded $35 million from the US government to quadruple production of the semiconductor chips used in F-35 fighter jets.

The announcement is the first from the $52.7 billion “Chips for America” semiconductor manufacturing and research subsidy programme that is designed to increase US chip production, amid concerns about an over-reliance on Asia."
