Cycles... expect the unexpected, the city boys are probably tied up elsewhere being near the end of the month, but it can drive you nuts, at least we are in so when it happens

True, sorry...having a bad day here!

The FTSE is terrible, it goes down when the Dow does, but doesn't recover when the DOW goes up, thus most FTSE companies suffer.

That said, I still don't understand the stock market reaction to BAE recently. The company is in a better position now than it was when the share price was 650p.

Ftse down 1.2pc today, but we stayed flat despite auto-trading tyring to force it down. That is very positive. Expect a large rise in the next few days

Ridiculous drop over recent days, BAE dragged down by auto-trading in the FTSE, which in turn has been dragged down by the DOW.

The DOW is over-priced and deserves to drop, but the FTSE is the opposite.

Either that, or a deliberate drop to allow corporate investors to make even more money.

COLOGNE, Germany — German defense leaders have admitted there is no firm financing plan for the Future Combat Air System, but they still plan to submit the project to lawmakers for approval soon.
At issue are the next phases for the German-Franco-Spanish, next-generation fighter aircraft, dubbed 1B and 2. The decision to proceed marks something of a point of no return given the billions of euros to be pumped into flyable prototypes.
