So thats an army of 18000 troops on one ship. Hardly enough to do more than occupy a minor city" Spot on 18000 troops on one ship. What about about munitions, other supplies such as food so some containers wont have troops in as you say.. And at the USA end. A fully tooled up local militia/general populace with enough bullets to last several centuries!!!! Don't think Burnchat has thought it through myself | crossing_the_rubicon
27/3/2020 08:38 | Burnchat. Lets have a look at your idea. How many troops per 40Ft ISO Container? Lets keep it simple and say 10. So thats an army of 18000 troops on one ship. Hardly enough to do more than occupy a minor city. Where will this number of troops be loaded onboard, how long will the voyage be to the nearest US dock capable of handling 1800 containers? How much food and water will the troops need per container? Lets also not forget that a human being needs to pass body waste in two ways, where will that go in this container? Then at unloading the containers are stacked awaiting collection for a period of time. Eventually the containers will be opened to find? I suggest 10 bodies x 1800. | ribblewader

26/3/2020 18:00 | I do worry about the Yanks, they think their next war will be on foreign soil. It wont it will be on US. There are 18000 40FT shipping containers on one ship. An entire army can be unloaded in 48 hrs and have enough supplies to last 6 months whilst the rest of the country does with out. Still at least they still have an army. | burnchat
