I think the peak was around 8th Jan 2018 at around 145p ish depending on time of day you looked.

This peaked close to 1.50 around the end of 2017, way before my time and not sure how much the company has changed since then except to have hands on a very rich asset.

Buyers are in today and anywhere near half those highs would make me a happy man.

Demands is going up now. But the Australians invested in expanding hard rock spudomere which built up a stockpile of the stuff. This spudomere actually only makes a profit when lithium prices are something like $14,k pet tonne. So they have reduced production or mothballed them.

BCN can produce at 4k per tonne and therefore makes huge profit at $14k per tonne.

What I think was actually said is that there will be a shortage of lithium by 2023 as stockpiles of spudomere are used up and the production capacity will not meet the demand unless multiple mines of the size of BCN are built and in production by then.

Sorry, full production is 2023 so a little longer than 18 months.. but even so, this is the blink of an eye for large scale mining operations.

I don't really mind if it happens over the next 6 months, but this does seem cheap for the prospects and it's partnerships. This isn't a 'oh look there's lots of lithium' type play this is more 'there's tons of lithium, we have a partnership with a massive lithium supplier and we're going to be mining it in less than 18 months' type play.

Final Feasibility Study completed 2018.
Failed to get institutions to Stump up money
Arranged 150 Million loan with RK Finance
They have 40 million in bank
Ganfeng bought 29% of BC and 22.5% of the Sonora Mine in 2019
MK increased its stake back up to 19.99% (Ganfeng diluted to 24.xx%)in 2019
Flow Sheet completed by American company in Sept 2020
Ganfeng are on course to complete the EPC in Q4 2020.
Financing expected to be be complete q1 2021 and build starts
Expectsd to take 18 months to build plus another 6 months contingency
Expected to be producing Lithium in 2023
Sonora has 8.1 MT of Lithium
Enough for 250 Years.
Lots of extra Hectares no surveyed but expected to contain Lithium
First Stage was for 17.5 K tonnes expanding to 35k Tonnes
also mentioned it may be 25K tonnes expanding to 50K tonnes.

Hello everyone, I’ve been a investor since the start , to be honest it’s been a eye watering experience, when is this company going to actually produce some lithium ? They have been saying next year for years !

Johnny. BCN has offloaded development for 1.3 million that itchad to pay anyway.

It has no future financial obligations but has net profit loyalty payments to come. And no wins 44% of Eris.

It can concentrate on BCN. Big turning point in EPC from Ganfeng in Q4 2020. BCN have guaranteed off take at market prices for 10 years. Lithium sentiment is up. So with Ganfeng backing and possibly increasing their shareholding to 50% its funding should no longer pose a problem

Highlights-- Bacanora will be selling its 50% share in DL plus EUR1.35m cash in exchange for new shares in Erris, giving Bacanora a 70% ownership stake in Erris and a net profit royalty. This percentage ownership will reduce as Erris will be raising additional funds by means of the Placing as part of the process in order to accelerate the further development of Zinnwald.This was in the RNS on the 30th Sept.So there's nothing really new in today's RNS and nothing to explain the sudden drop in price.Thereagain,there was nothing specific to explain the sharp price rise of the last few days.The company is in the right place and the right time with a highly proficient industry backer in Ganfeng.Plenty to go for.
