Bacanora discussed in this Crux Investor interview - Rodney Hooper expresses concerns about clay deposits but is very upbeat on Gangfeng's technical abilities.

chart is starting to look tempting, the major lithium producers have been have a good run of late. I'm tempted to buy a few as well.

Not if you haven't demonstrated cashflow conversion. Sometimes this is an entry point but depends on what a company generates.

What's their cash burn per month?

If you read the statements.

18 Months to Build production facilities and commence production.

After that takes only 4 years production to cover costs of build - and every thing then is profit.

Second stage is to double production.

So waiting on Gangfeng for EPC. Then funding. Then start.

This was supposed to be q1/q2 2020.

This is delayed because of COVID19.

China seems to be back to work (so Ganfeng to).

Secker said last month it was delayed by COVID19. But now expected within 6 months (now 5 months)

This share was between 80 and 112p a few years, and spiked to around 140-150p on the definitive cost/resource estimates.

Good prospects for those that hold their nerves in this time of panic in the markets.

Thing is its not like they have huge costs and dividends to pay.

So just a waiting game because they have a cash position similar to its market cap. But lots of assets whose value is not represented in the Share price.

I stand corrected. I haven't followed this much... Hanwa, like other shareholders have been diluted, and currently there is no visibility over when the company becomes profitable. By that I mean it's hard to see if this is 3 years or up to even 7 or 10 years.

The balance sheet is a critical data point, as is the cost of financing. What's the interest on the loan? In terms of math therefore, how long, if we assume no revolving credit, on cash burn does $150m last taking the capex cycle into consideration?

Hanwa was a 10% shareholder until M and G got issued more shares to take their holding to 19.9%.Diluting Hanwa and Ganfengs percentages.

Also RK Mine finance has given BCN a $150 million loan facility to bring into production.

So you dont think Hanwa, M and G, and Gangfeng is enough interest?
--------

If the asset is worth that much then Gangfeng would have been pressured to pay more for a third of the business.. Having secured that money how strong is the balance sheet vs required capex?

M&G are an investor, could get it right or wrong.

Hanwa has a production contract, not a stake in the business.

How much money does Bacanora make? When did it ever say it will become profitable? How much cash injection would they need? What is their borrowing cost of financing?
