30/3/2006 16:12 | Is there not a concern that this document is fake? | holdontightuk
30/3/2006 16:08 | Do we know where they'll be dumping these dollars? I could be interested... and then re-sell them for 50c...:-) | sogoesit
30/3/2006 15:47 | FEDERAL RESERVE ORDERS TWO TRILLION DOLLARS TO BE PRINTED AND PUT INTO CIRCULATION! By Special Report Mar 28, 2006, 21:05 SOURCES WITHIN THE UNITED STATES TREASURY ARE FLABBERGASTED! INFO CORROBORATED BY THREE SEPARATE U.S. TREASURY SOURCES Six months ago, the Federal Reserve quietly announced that as of March 20, 2006, they would no longer publish "M3" Data. The "M3" was the amount of cash the government printed to put into circulation, propping-up the U.S. economy. As of eight days ago, M3 data is no longer being reported, so there is no way for the public, investors or bond holders to know how much currency exists - and no way to gauge how much a "dollar" is truly worth. Three separate sources in the U.S. Treasury have told me that this week, the federal reserve ordered TWO TRILLION dollars to be printed! The U.S. Treasury is allegedly running printing presses 24/7 to accommodate that order. Treasury employees were specifically ORDERED not to talk about this to anyone because it could cause economic collapse. Even worse, I was also told that the whole Immigration Amnesty Debate (especially the well-funded well-attended protests) was deliberately scheduled to take place now, to divert attention from this massive printing/devaluation of the U.S. Dollar. The feds allegedly figured that by the time anyone found out, they could smooth things over. They figured wrong. Surprise, boys, you've been exposed! Watch for Gold and silver to skyrocket in price within days as the world wises up and begins dumping the U.S. Dollar. | yikyak
30/3/2006 15:45 | Gold looks like it may continue to climb over the next few hours which may prompt a final flurry before the close on AVM. Can we break 190 ? | bestbuddy
30/3/2006 15:09 | Holdontigt Will look at EKA - Thanks | kickstart
30/3/2006 15:09 | Gold going ballistic ! | kickstart
30/3/2006 14:30 | Nice moves AVM! FYI AIM 50 stocks are traded on SETSmm. Not sure how often the list is changed but it's supposed to be the 50 biggest AIM stocks by market cap. | mattybuoy
30/3/2006 14:29 | If you want a moly play that will be producing next 4 weeks (supposedly!) and has a boat load of gold and copper, take a look at EKA (I hold) | holdontightuk
30/3/2006 14:14 | Yes, I agree undervalued......but not gold and moly prices will be lower next year as supply ramps up, by all accounts. | holdontightuk
30/3/2006 14:11 | The one I like is Thor Mining, run by Aussies has large Molybendum project well undervalued at 7mln MKT cap. | kickstart
30/3/2006 13:49 | If it's majors you want, then yes.....but I guess the fact that you are in AVM indicates otherwise. MCR has excellent potential TMG, whilst very risky, is imo massively undervalued - 8 mill mkt cap and 200k oz/ year producer! Results due tomorrow. EUM has potential AAB.V and BMGX.OB both offer potential and could quite easily be multi-baggers -undervalued royalties imo I also quite like SIM.ZA, but don't hold. CDN is starting to look interesting and I also like MMM.V Oh yes, I think MAW.V also has potential, gold and uranium....energyi has started a thread. I also bought PCL.V the other day....... which I see as a cheap way into HIF (like paying 6p).. IMO DYOR etc | holdontightuk
30/3/2006 13:47 | hotuk - thanks for info. | dixi
30/3/2006 13:41 | Mercator Gold chairman buys 100,000 shares LONDON (AFX) - Mercator Gold PLC said chairman Terrence Strapp has bought 100,000 shares in the company and now holds 220,000 shares, or 0.56 pct. newsdesk@afxnews.com ak | holdontightuk
30/3/2006 13:29 | If your after zinc, take a look at YZC.V, Yukon Zinc.....have lots of silver as well plus some gold and lead. FS due shortly. | holdontightuk
30/3/2006 13:22 | I popped a few £'s on 'aimr' with the hope of a good multiple return - speculative but some early doors risk can be a great reward too. (not a gold stock - but plenty of zinc it appears). No ramp intended! | dixi
30/3/2006 13:10 | For all of you looking for diversification, I think the best major at the current time is Newmont once again. Unhedged + Australian exchange rate now very good for making profits there as well (I owned Normandy stock, they became Newmont Australia so to say). Gold Fields intersting, too, but what's the point in buying low cost (relatively) when you have the Damocles Sword of black empowerment? Harmony is too expensive at current gold price / Rand. Barrick/Placer are hedged too much. Intermediates are too risky, Meridian low on reserves, Agnico now fully valued etc. | kojak78
30/3/2006 12:52 | Holdontightuk, I bought only 15000 BMGX, stochastics say they are overbought and there seems to be a barrier at 39. Perhaps they'll go down to 37 or 35 in order to make a new assault on the 39 barrier. | kojak78
30/3/2006 12:43 | dixi - I heard that much of aim is transferring to a SETSMM system. I guess AVM is now included. Chip | chipperfrd
30/3/2006 12:32 | Noted that AVM is now the subject of 'AT' trades - have we moved to a 'SETS' system rather than the price being determined by just the Market Makers? I get the impression that this is now the case with quite a few AIM shares - certainly OXS is one of them. I expect I missed some news from the LSE about a move to electronic order book for AIM stocks? Any ideas? | dixi
30/3/2006 12:16 | I took a few off the table today because, like Kojak, I believe there will be a pullback at some point. I also prefer to buy when others are selling but as this story has a long way to run there will always be opportunities to add, as well as to take profits. Chip | chipperfrd
30/3/2006 12:08 | well a lot of the big boys like a takeover target around the £200m mark, so I have read. Would be very interesting if an offer was made or even hinted, just to up the rerating. But I believe they would do better on their own in the long run and the gains can be much more. | brad1
30/3/2006 12:00 | Nice idea.....do you hold BMGX? | holdontightuk
30/3/2006 11:58 | If they decided to sell.. IMHO Avocet should reach for a friendly merger with Minefinders and a BMGX takeover. US + Canadaian + UK listing, mines in Mexico, Malaysia, Indonesia and Tajikistan, US$700 market cap, 4 mio oz gold reserves, 105 mio oz silver reserves, 2.5 additional gold reserves in the next 2 years and 2.7 mio royalty income as icing on the cake. Production 120 from Penjom, 100 from Tajikistan, 60 from Indonesia, 120 from Dolores = 400. +4.4 mio oz silver production and perhaps 130000 gold per annum from Taror/Chore. That would shield us from hostile takeovers and would give us the necessary listings + critical mass. On the other side both managements are capable and US-listing means SEC rules and only JORC standard reserves. But all in all such a company would over time yield more than 600,000 world class production per annum and should be valued at 2 bn and not 700 mio. It would diversify AVMs hedged ounces and eliminate the need for Minefinders to issue stock to finance Dolores. It would be like the Newmont/Normandy/Fra | kojak78
30/3/2006 11:53 | To both parties.......gold at $1000/oz in 18 mnths or so, with AVM producing 300k oz's plus, with potentially several million reserves........Ball | holdontightuk
30/3/2006 11:49 | Yes I suppose £2.80 would be acceptable at a pinch;-) | ohojim |
