They put out the statement because there is a dichotomy between the markets perception of the value of Aviva post-brexit, and the reality, this is a very strong company with large capital buffers!

Added yesterday at 394p. CC2014, 390.8 sounds like perfection, I suggest the lottery tomorrow...

Bought some more at 390.8 today. Tbh I spent ages dithering and held back some funds to commit further down if that happens.

The strength of the bounce in the late afternoon caught me by surprise as I was expecting a sell-off for the rest of this week

AV being sold down as a proxy for EU uncertainty

once vote is in expect reversion to (relative)
value

But if FTSE slumps so will all majors. That will be a great buying
opportunity in my view.

My shorts on Aviva will close this week and then I shall let my longs run. IMO a good company that has been caught up in the current turmoil.

I took 405.85 around 10:00 ish as I couldn't resist. I think there's more upside in SL. but the chart of AV. looks far better and thus less risky

CC - have had this share on my watch list for a while now and agree thats sub 410 is a great buy point.

Think its worth waiting for, especially with the markets looking like they will take it there.

Had lots of favourable reviews. So called 'experts' do like this company and think that the next few years will be very profitable. So it looks like a great company and one that will be profitable for us. Just need to get below 410 again.

SL. does look more attractive on a dividend basis though
