I've dropped them a line. |
No idea I am afraid. If you have time/energy wouod br good if you can ask the company to remind them of the presence of private shareholders who they seem to ignore. |
Does anyone know why Admin Expenses have such a H2 weighting?
2022 H1 10.4m H2 12.6m 2023 H1 10.4m H2 15.5m 2024 H1 14.3m H2 20.4m 2025 H1 16.3m H2 ?? |
I see that for the next FY 25/26 both Cavendish and Singer have a revenue of £183.2m and an adjusted PBT of £10.7m. Cavendish have a TP of 495p and Singers 525p-both excluding the medical division. Unfortunate that AVG did not specify their interpretation of current market expectations for this FY. For the record Cavendish have revenue of £161m and adjusted PBT of £6.6m and Singers same revenue and adjusted PBT virtually the same at £6.5m. |
Hi All, I sold out of AVG in the long-ago of 2020 @ 324p for a good gain, taken from a pre-Hayward Tayler plc holdong of its AVG takeover.
Happy to have re-entered AVG today and note the current compant optimism for their going forward.

Results look good to me, margins down slightly, but every other metric going fine guns.. |
The MM's always ignore the bizarre uncrossing trades so the open this morning was 350-370 the same as it was all day yesterday until the UT. |
Wow. An uncrossing trade of 2 shares took the share price down to 3.43 yesterday. Bounced back this morning. On 3 small trades. Other days thousands of shares get traded and no movement in share price Very odd market |
What a lovely £4.5 million contract, not bad for a company thats been purchased from the administrator..
associated services to the energy, medical and industrial sectors, is pleased to announce its subsidiary Booth Industries (Booth), has secured a new £4.5 million contract to supply pressure-rated fire doors for HS2.
The contract expands upon Booth Industries' involvement in the HS2 project, following the £36 million contract secured in September 2020 to supply cross passage doors for the London-to-West Midlands segment of the route. Booth will begin mass production of the cross-passage sliding doorsets in its 600m², state-of-the-art production cell during 2025.
Following the initial HS2 contract, Booth developed tested doors capable of withstanding high pressure shockwaves across more than 5 million cycles, delivering a design life exceeding 30 years. This proven innovation and expertise are now being applied to bespoke designs for the newly awarded pressure-door contract.

I'm in no rush, shares are like volcanoes, they can lay dormant for years then suddenly explode into life.. |
Doesn’t look like it was enough Igoe! Hoping I might get a few more myself in the new ISA year. Not far away but not expecting much news till the summer. Another ridiculous SP |
Purchase aload of shares this morning, been in my watchlist for a while.. |
A bit (well a lot) corny but a veterinary discussion on the Adaptix 3D x-ray scanner. |
Nice rise ahead of possible Jan TU....? DYOR |
I'm pretty sure he isn't (if his portfolio on LinkedIn is to be believed). |
Im pretty sure PH is a shareholder here. Rather be in this than the champagne charlies at AGFX (which BG also supports). Never going to get the true story of what went on there. |
PH = Brummy Git!!! |
I'm always intrigued that with all his access PH hasn't taken a position here especially as the Steve's appear to be better capital allocators than he is. Maybe Brummy_Git might like to comment? |
PH was also interviewing a fund manager who just shook his head in disbelief saying ‘it’s just aim, isn’t it.’ PS also commented that it had done well to track sideways for a couple of years in comparison to the rest of AIM. I just top up every time it falls back around £3.80. It’s obviously going to take some kind of catalyst to rerate. Either the sale or sales of medical equipment, its newest challenges which it bought at rock bottom like everything it buys to turn around. Another fund manager said it’s possibly a triple bagger never mind double the price. Patience is required and obviously some kind of recovery in sentiment. If Trump does get some kind of settlement for Ukraine as well this year that really will be a game changer for quality stock like this. |

Good spot CH. there is a lot of value to unlock from asset sales. Will they return some to shareholders? They might be tempted to go larger on more Nuclear waste containers, especially as they may otherwise have to license some of their knowledge to rival/competitors. Booths could possibly be another area of expansion. Just feels as though the kind of bargain they hopefully achieved with Adaptix was a bit of a once in a lifetime kind of deal, which will be hard to repeat, not to mention the length of time and investment it takes to achieve fruition. It would seem finding growth from within might be more profitable if a little dull. |
