Another welcome move for this under the radar, really think the next results will be a lot clearer for people to see the potential.

Funny about highly-regarded PaulyPilot!!

Bbus. Why would you for one second think I am referring to you? I am not referring to anyone.

Although with 10,000 odd posts to your name, paying ADVFN a paltry £100 or so a year to get yourself validated would certainly not detract from this impressive number of posts of yours and your propensity for posting.

Posts 1464 and 1466 refer. I was just recently confused by Kabrams with whom you were in dialogue who said that buying shares was all new to her but she appears to have been posting and buying for a while. My guess is that we are unlikely to hear much more from Kabrams in the future but she is of course welcome back any time.

Quepassa,

Right on, I have long been suspicious that PP is not really a pilot.

Qp I hope your not referring to me as I choose not to pay for something I don't need so won't be blue.

Good to see some new posters on this bulletin board.

Validated (blue-highlighted) users generally make a positive contribution as they are paying subscribers.

You can check the bona-fides of any user by clicking on their user name, then you may wish to click their profile and this will show you all the posts they have in the past authored which can be very revealing.

It can be interesting to do this for some of the less frequent posters/contributors on this bulletin board - and to see where and when they have popped up in the past.

Whilst I am not in any way suggesting that this is the case here, you do sometimes hear of (non-validated) posters having multiple user names and even some posters having imaginary dialogues with their alter-ego's.

Let's trust that none of those shenanigans start here for what has been rather a good bulletin board populated by some good and credible posters.

In terms of liquidity on Avesco which, as a validated user, is a company I rate highly, I would suggest that liquidity on Avesco is generally par for the course for AIM companies with this number of shares in issue.

Good post paulypilot, another day with buyers snapping up the early sells. £2 is a very realistic target PP and could be sooner than most think.

Hi,

I agree - this share was one I flagged up at the UK Investor Show last month, as an interesting micro cap with a nice combination of turnaround/recovery with previously problem subsidiaries now coming good, fantastic dividend yield, hidden freehold property upside, and mgt who have been buying heavily recently & probably will want to sell the business at the best price achievable soon, given advancing age & retirement.

Also, as mentioned above by another poster, the last trading update was very encouraging.

No idea on timescales, but personally I've pencilled in c.200p share price target, and in the meantime am happy to collect in those lovely divis!

DYOR as usual, just my personal opinion, not a recommendation.

Pleasing to see some interest in the shares today - I wonder why? It took me about a month to build up a reasonable sized position in it a while ago - no point in chasing the price up, I just waited for the red days & hoovered up stock then.

Regards, Paul.

Good brief sj, Fountain studios also probably undervalued given its location. The accounts and drop in share price over the last couple of years with the Germany write off and cash return with the addition of debt to buy back the shares confusing. Should be more clearer this year, I have doubled my holding and expect a decent relate over the next twelve months when the results show the benefits of the odd year!

Brief summary that I posted elsewhere

Market cap circa £25m

Shareholder equity £32m
(Real assets - none of these silly intangibles!)

Pretax forecast 2015 and 2016 of £4m and £5m and yield circa 6% (per DL)

What's not to like - one for Simon Thompson if he hasn't already commented?

Last year's accounts a little complex for non accountants - might put PI's off? and cyclical with some obvious risk.

Significant Director buying in Jan/Feb at around 120p

And this from March TS
"Avesco Group plc (the "Group"), the provider of services to the corporate presentation, entertainment and broadcast markets, is pleased to report that trading in the first few months of the financial year has continued the positive trends seen during last year. Our Creative Technology ("CT") business in the UK together with the restructured Presteigne Broadcast and CT Germany businesses are all showing significant improvements whilst our CT business in North America has delivered another strong performance. The outlook for the summer period also looks promising. Consequently the directors anticipate that results for the year to 30 September 2015 will be comfortably ahead of their previous expectations."

PLEASE NOTE. - AS AT 13/5, I have edited/deleted most of tthis post after reading profile and all other posts of kabrams.

Good luck but please be very careful indeed in investing in small cap shares if, as you say, individual stock-picking is new to you.

Hi Karen, I try not to buy back something I've regretted selling but i do think we have much higher to go here. The only advice i will give you is stick with it if you do buy. GL.

I have to hold my hands up to you guys and say I was far too hasty in selling, I was wrong and will buy back in the morning. A valuable lesson learnt as I come to terms with stocks. Unit trusts my usual investment requires little judgement on my behalf so this is all new to me.

A fine role-model AIM company with a great management team. The Executive Chairman, Mr. Murray who founded the Company, The FD John Christmas and Dave Crump (amongst others) are in my opinion all highly professional and motivated.

Good to see Avesco attacking the USA market, and already with some noticeable successes.

Avesco are well-placed and highly regarded in this dynamic, innovative and growth industry. You can only get repeat business from the likes of some of Avesco's impressive clients if you are right up there providing a top-notch product and service.

Well worth a read.

"Augie Dellapi, CT's Director of Business Development commented: "CT's people, approach, product and passion for the business exceeded their clients' expectations and displayed the Freightliner Infinite Inspiration product launch in a way and in a place that has never been done before."

kabrams shares like this should be held at least for the medium term. In the long term it will be a wonderful investment. You get a lovely divi yield while you wait for the share price increase.

You look back on this share in 6 and then 12 months to see where it is. I will still be holding in 5 years.
