21/2/2014 11:20 | Incidentally, for anybody that missed it, a little while ago I wrote a short article about the implications for future dividends following the reduction in Avesco's share capital:- Please also note that Avesco's current market cap. is closer to £20m rather than the £30m quoted on ADVFN following this reduction in the share capital. Cheers. Michael. | michaelmouse
20/2/2014 22:21 | Many thanks eeza. Works a treat. Brilliant. Michael. | michaelmouse
20/2/2014 20:21 | Hello Michael If you change the 2 'x's in hxxp to TT it will be a 'live' link. So, after posting the link, go back and 'edit' the link to hTTp and re-submit. (if you put hTTp in the first time the system changes it to hxxp but not on an edit). | eeza

17/2/2014 09:21 | Yes. Murray gets his return of cash in June/Sept, so will have additional financial firepower to make a bid then? From Dec 23rd RNS In order to spread the impact of these payments, which would otherwise all fall to be paid within a short period of time, Richard Murray has , subject to completion of the Buy-back Agreement, agreed to defer the majority of his entitlement under the Return of Cash, being approximately £3.4 million until no later than 30 June 2014 with the balance (£2 million) to be paid on or before 30 September 2014. Wonder if a bid by him would end the standstill agreement with Taya (is Murray a "3rd party" in this context?) | papy02
17/2/2014 09:11 | Hello hazl - I've been here a very long time and I've no intention of leaving in the foreseeable future. Yes the UBC/Digital7 news will be very interesting, particularly in the present climate. Michael. | michaelmouse
17/2/2014 08:55 | hi michaelmouse good to see you here ....just bought in nothing from UBC for a while be interesting to see what gives when it returns | hazl
17/2/2014 07:55 | Indeed they are, and Murray has bought another £108,000 worth. He holds just below 30% of the company now. I wonder if he has any intention of making an offer and taking the company private? Michael. | michaelmouse
17/2/2014 07:32 | Director purchases always a good sign | grantk
15/2/2014 12:30 | How long will this company take to restore its share price to logical 130p Hope you are all safe and well. A comfortable 66dec. with little or no breeze. I miss some aspects of the UK but the weather is not one of them But bureaucracy here I will never get used to | grantk
12/2/2014 11:33 | Worthy purchase for new purchasers A pension I was associated with before I retired held Avesco and I bought some time ago for the yield. The recent payment has been good and as a non UK resident the returns are better than a savings account. Taya share reduction and Avesco's China venture will grow my income Thanks to Michael for such a helpful and friendly bb unlike some | grantk
06/2/2014 14:54 | That's not bad, a 130p drop against a 110p divi. Yes, I suspect this wasn't the plan ;-) They've also taken 29% of shares out of the market (bought off Taya). In the absence of anything saying the business prospects have worsened, this has to be an opportunity? | papy02
06/2/2014 12:42 | That's not bad, a 130p drop against a 110p divi.Not many re-invested their proceeds into this then.Perhaps E.K. has sold? | rogash |
