Lighten up, john. It's only a bulletin board! Just put it out there; who cares if others don't like it? They don't have to read it. I like to see all views and just scroll through the stuff I'm not interested in. I agree there's no point in only reading "posts that......meet your own prejudices". Keep posting, mate, and apply some skin-thickener.

Said I wouldn't post here again but just to redeem my faux pas re Monday - living abroad we don't have the same bank holidays, so UK bank holidays don't register in my day to day thoughts. So when I said, I could be wrong in my timing about Monday, it's now clearly obvious that I will be. But the reason for my Monday (now next week) assertion may still be there. I'll put it on the other board if and when it materialises.

Why have you not put up news/charts/financial data etc on AVN, in the thread header ?

I see you have a thread on IOF

And that cash was raised at a premium to the share price .... which does not happen very often

The company in the chart below also raised cash at a premium not very long ago, but at a considerably higher margin

You might be interested in casting your eyes over the TA and chart johnc

Hi Colva .. I consider 300.00p to be a strong psychological level.. I have added a triangulation, and the last candlestick shows a failed upside breakaway attempt, followed by an intraday movement below 300.00p, a 'close' below, and falling indicators.. all warning signs of further retracement, with the danger of the 300.00p level reversing from strong 'support' to strong 'resistance' for any subsequent rise. (However, the price is still within the triangulation and occasionally the price will take a 'step backwards', before making an upside breakout, so fingers crossed for a decisive move next back up the 300.00p level.. at this price level, I consider each 25.00p level as being the most influential on the movement.

Could have written it myself. In fact I virtually did if you read back; not withstanding I went for next Monday as a start point, so let's see how accurate our charts will prove to be . . .

This will be probably be my last post here and I certainly won't be posting on the other board again. I'm afraid the thought police, specifically one 'jonnib' (ably abetted, though to a lesser extent by 'yorgi') have finally won the day in their attempts to censor me. Well jonnib, I see nothing gets past you and congratulations are in order.

After your post 8986, which I ignored, your post 8998 which I responded too with post 9001, you now ramp up your little spat (9079) with me by essentially calling me a liar with your . . . 'i find it difficult to believe you' comment relating to your assertion that I must have heard about that scam buywell2 brought to this threads attention. Yorgi then cannot resist jumping on your band wagon.

At least you have moved on from your observation that I am buywell in another guise but you are still fixated with your right to act as this threads unelected censor of posts that do not meet your own prejudices.

So let me say again – I had never heard of that kind of scam – period - and your inability to accept / believe this says more about you than it does about me.

I have not tried to resurrect the superg thread. I have merely used it as a place to post my graphs / charts in due deference to yorgi who clearly does not want them on 'his' thread. I was unaware that superg was, as you put it, a de ramper. But yes, you're right in one of your comments that no one, judging by the lack of debate, seems to have followed me there.

So, jonnib, on the assumption you don't have too much of a beef against colva you might like to follow up his link in post 9085 above. But please be careful because what is posted by Fingers xxd could have been written by me. (But I do promise you it wasn't). The analysis and charts are virtually identical to mine on the other thread and seem to vary only very slightly in where Fingers and I have chosen to put our resistance and support lines.

But I don't want to bore you and as I noted elsewhere on this thread with jeffian – it's all subjective.

So as I started this post with congratulations let me now end with them. You have got a result. and I shall no longer post here.

Colva – your post 9085 above. Thanks for the link. I assume that you too have an interest in and give credence to charting. (You have after all addressed the odd comment my way).

I could have put that Fingers xxd post together myself. Re the June 1st date (i.e. today), I had stated on the other thread that next Monday would / could see the start of some movement so Fingers and I are very close in this assertion. (We could both be wrong in our timing, of course).

One thing I do expect is that AVN is going to move soon. My interest in posting is only really to have discussion with others who use charts but that hasn't really happened here and not too much on the other thread either.

That late trade that cancun (9083) makes note of could start a flurry of activity this morning.

The price is holding up very well considering. Hope we get the launch details soon and a couple of contracts to help support but the floor would seem to be around the £3.00 mark...hopefully!

I take it the 71k late trade was a buy then.

Like I said John, buywell is here with the sole purpose of disrupting a thread and causing unrest that much is very clear. If you wish to engage in him/her then fine but most of the names that post on here have been around for a long time, you and buywell have not. You tried to resurrect another thread which the last de ramper set up. No one followed superg and no one followed you when you started posting there. I think you give yourself away when you state you havent heard of that type of scam posted above when the reality is, even a novice like me has heard of it as like colva states its been discussed several times on almost all the threads and seeing as you have been around a long time and clearly know all about charting and stocks i find it difficult to believe you.

Over the years i'v quite often seen these small trades appearing in the stocks that i'v held and they've been discussed many times on BB's , are you suggesting that they're all down to market manipulation scams or are you only suggesting that the trades in AVN this morning were part of a scam.

jonnib 9075 - re buywell - look, knock it off. He / she makes some good points. I've only defended him over some of his predictions for which he was unreasonably slated and which correlated with what I was seeing in my charts. If we both subscribe to the same charting theories is it not likely we'll have similar views?

Go back to posts 8993 to 8997 re comments to me from buywell and 8995 where i do criticise one of his / her assertions. And after that post 9001 where I've essentially answered your comments before.

johnsimpson...you do seem to speak up for buywell at every given opportunity. I noted in earlier posts that he was filtered buy all and sundry on the GKP thread for deramping continuously, trying to wind up posters and not adding anything of any credibility and you stuck up for him/her with no comment from Buywell As i said before im all for you posting your charts with explanations and reading any other comments. Just a bit odd you defending an annonynous poster and you both appeared at the same time.?
