29/5/2012 08:47 | yorgi, from the list on your link there are 2 other sats shown as July launch by Ariane5. is Hylas-2 going solo, or will it be paired like Hylas-1 was ? | backmarker
29/5/2012 08:46 | I seem to recall last year there were postings of delays for the launch of Hylas 1 but correct me if I'm wrong but I believe that went pretty much to schedule. As we have had nothing from AVN I'm taking it that all is well...... | yorgi
29/5/2012 08:42 | I did a search on EchoStar XVII but it turned up nothing. latest news was that it had arrived at Arianespace over a week ago. I assume therefore that 19 June is still the official launch date for VA207. | backmarker
29/5/2012 08:36 | I did some digging yesterday Backmarker I could not find anything the 28th July mentioned anywhere. All I could find was on this link scheduling Hylas 2 for July. | yorgi
29/5/2012 08:30 | re. earlier posts by blue forever et al.... what's this about problems with Echostar VII (Ariane VA207) and a consequent delay to Hylas-2 (presumed VA208) knocking launch back to 28th July ? any references, anyone ? | backmarker
29/5/2012 08:19 | Slow start as usual today :-( | yorgi
28/5/2012 15:23 | well at least we are still blue. | wilksey1
28/5/2012 15:17 | It used to have me wondering Wilksey seeing trades of the likes of 3 shares, the lowest I can see today at glance. | yorgi
28/5/2012 15:12 | thanks for your reply yorgi, thought it might be a couple of kids trying to get there pocket money back, lol | wilksey1
28/5/2012 14:39 | Wilksey, The explanation I was given at the Mi2012 show from someone on the AVN stand was (something like I hope I have it right) that they are computer generated trades by computer by funds that are buying/selling shares from various companies keeping their quotas in various sectors. I had always thought it odd to say the least but the explanation I was given satisfied my curiosity. I'm not sure whether I have explained it correctly. | yorgi
28/5/2012 14:24 | whats with all the small trades going through | wilksey1
28/5/2012 11:56 | LOL......I know the feeling Jonnib :-) | yorgi
28/5/2012 11:39 | true...although if things carry on like they have been this last year i will have nothing left to invest with! lol | jonnib
28/5/2012 11:34 | Moving from Aim to the main market will be a good move for us Jonnib I'm quite sure......pity is wasn't about to happen then we could tuck some away in our ISA's ! | yorgi
28/5/2012 11:32 | it will come......as will the contracts! Then footsie,so we can get away from this casino called aim! | jonnib
28/5/2012 09:39 | It's the warp drive engines Cap'n, I'll have to get Scotty to have a look. John | 2350220
28/5/2012 09:15 | Looks like a pretty normal day for us so far today up a bit down a bit but still we can't seem to break away from this 300 area. Yet ! | yorgi
28/5/2012 09:07 | I see tomjack2 still spamming away this morning. Now up to circa 450 posts - FML down 3% or so but on a handful of trades only. So not much positive take up on his tip. Could be a very clever ruse. Interesting to see how it pans out . . . | johncsimpson
28/5/2012 08:21 | Unusual start. Small spread and surprisingly moving up a tad despite the news of a setback for Echostar-17 . . . As has often been pointed out, a good RNS sends the price down and now a small glitch sends AVN up. Early days yet . . . -------------------- Blue forever 27 May'12 - 21:25 - 9005 of 9009 Looks like launch of Hylas 2 is now rescheduled for July 27th,two months away so plenty of time for a few ups and downs in the share price Just have to sit it out I guess! -------------------- Think you're right there Blue. | johncsimpson
28/5/2012 07:11 | In fact, tomjack2 has posted over 350 times in TWO days since the profile was created. Without checking every single post, they all seem to have the same basic message. Others include: tomjack2 - 26 May 2012 - 18:57:14 - 2725 of 2726 Forgive me for the little intrusion on your board........but a small tip, if I may? Maybe best weekend's decision you ever made! tomjack2 - 27 May 2012 - 20:08:51 Can you be quick in?..i.e. Monday/Tuesday (Bloomberg no less predicting value to increase c.800%+) Frontier Mining (FML) - production imminent fully funded no dilution been years coming DYOR plenty of broker supporting confirmation out there Seems like a man on a mission . . . | johncsimpson
28/5/2012 07:02 | tomjack2 27 May'12 - 17:02 - 9002 of 9006 Looking for something with the realistic potential for very high, short-term gains? Move your money for a short period from here & come back later (I assume you will be committed long-term here)? . . . . etc. Posted on about 20 other threads (since checked further - they're everywhere) including bank, drug other resource companies as well as some general discussion threads, by a poster (tomjack2), who's profile was created on 26 May 2012 . . . . | johncsimpson
27/5/2012 22:45 | Re the Frontier Mining post just now, I've seen exactly the same stuff on Orosur's thread, so I've posted this little message on there. Seems odd, posting about mining stocks on a telecommmunications satellite thread IMHO. John | 2350220
