from the list on your link there are 2 other sats shown as July launch by Ariane5.

is Hylas-2 going solo, or will it be paired like Hylas-1 was ?

I seem to recall last year there were postings of delays for the launch of Hylas 1 but correct me if I'm wrong but I believe that went pretty much to schedule.

As we have had nothing from AVN I'm taking it that all is well......

I did a search on EchoStar XVII but it turned up nothing. latest news was that it had arrived at Arianespace over a week ago.

I assume therefore that 19 June is still the official launch date for VA207.

I did some digging yesterday Backmarker I could not find anything the 28th July mentioned anywhere.

All I could find was on this link scheduling Hylas 2 for July.

what's this about problems with Echostar VII (Ariane VA207) and a consequent delay to Hylas-2 (presumed VA208) knocking launch back to 28th July ?

any references, anyone ?

The explanation I was given at the Mi2012 show from someone on the AVN stand was (something like I hope I have it right) that they are computer generated trades by computer by funds that are buying/selling shares from various companies keeping their quotas in various sectors.

I had always thought it odd to say the least but the explanation I was given satisfied my curiosity. I'm not sure whether I have explained it correctly.

I see tomjack2 still spamming away this morning. Now up to circa 450 posts - FML down 3% or so but on a handful of trades only. So not much positive take up on his tip.

Could be a very clever ruse. Interesting to see how it pans out . . .

Unusual start. Small spread and surprisingly moving up a tad despite the news of a setback for Echostar-17 . . .

As has often been pointed out, a good RNS sends the price down and now a small glitch sends AVN up. Early days yet . . .

Looks like launch of Hylas 2 is now rescheduled for July 27th,two months away so plenty of time for a few ups and downs in the share price Just have to sit it out I guess!

Can you be quick in?..i.e. Monday/Tuesday (Bloomberg no less predicting value to increase c.800%+)
Frontier Mining (FML) - production imminent – fully funded – no dilution – been years coming
DYOR – plenty of broker supporting confirmation out there

Re the Frontier Mining post just now, I've seen exactly the same stuff on Orosur's thread, so I've posted this little message on there.

Seems odd, posting about mining stocks on a telecommmunications satellite thread IMHO.
